I don't wanna defend Jake Paul. He strikes me as a douche. But why do women wait until the person that allegedly raped them is in the spotlight for something they worked hard for the last years? It's not the first time it happened. Rape is a serious accusation. And you should report it as soon as possible. This seems like a way to "steal" some of the attention and dilutes the basis of the accusation.

If the wage gap truly existed, it would be a glaring market inefficiency that would be quickly arbitraged away. By making workers more expensive to hire, you make automation more attractive. And those low wage jobs are the easiest to automate (or at least automate enough so that 1 person can do more with the help of software and robots). McDonald's and Amazon have already made progress in that regard. But I agree they need to pay their fair share of taxes. Their effective rate is way lower than the corporate tax bracket suggests. So those loopholes need to be closed.

Any fault you find in women, you will find the equivalent for men. There is symmetry in all but two things (that I can think of). First, the 20:80 rule: Men know to settle, women would do anything for the top 20%. It's very much in our biology. The other thing that's not symmetric is our family law/judicial system. It has a huge bias for women, going as far as jailing men who don't comply.
