Of course we are all born the same and there are no differences. No differences between Chinese and africans and Europeans, and to subcategorize: pygmies and West africans, italians and Swedes, Tibetans and Chinese. That is a bullshit stance, pal. School PE is different, and I am 100% OK with different standards. Women and men are different physically, have different physical strength, etc. BUT, if an adult woman wants to train, or is born that way (outliers), and CAN pass a physical for firemen, soldier, etc, then there should be no rules to stop her.

Standards are there for a reason. In the future, we will fly around in gigantic spaceships and make love to sexy Vulcans and Klingons - meanwhile, we have this pesky reality of NOW. Please note that the tests test not just the physical, but also mental faculties for different positions, and have lowered requirement for women and/or minorities.

Agreed. I had a good conversation with a woman redditor and we both agreed that for certain positions, tests (physical, ability, intelligence) should be the same for all people, men and women. So if a person can lift, run, climb etc etc and is good enough to be a firefighter, Navy SEAL, soldier, race car driver, then they can be. Lowered standards for women, minorities are trouble.

White people get AA to go to historically black colleges and universities, because they're the minorities. Wow. How many take them up on that offer? Also AA promotes whites over Asians. In my experience, it promotes blacks and White women over Asians and White males.

You know, as a Euro guy in America, I think that this "breaking balls" AKA "bustin' chops" is out of control. I see grown men in my workplace behaving like kids from junior high, giggling and shoving. Maybe I am a dour, lacking all humour guy, but I want to work and go home, and not look out for a prank from an idiot who believes he is 14 (while sporting a beard and being 40).
