This is the perfect answer. Don't look into it too much.

I have seen many of my friends pull women through social media. And rather easily, down to just asking someone they met to come over if they around. I have this belief that that no woman is going to say 'That's a great guy but I'm here to get my hair done'. Perhaps it's down to narcissism, but I believe anyone would be better being around me than not. (That comes from my value, connections as well as experiences) I'm grateful that you are trying to help. And some of this is really good advice, b…

I don't think that has ever happened to anyone in my social circle. Perhaps I have a higher SMV than I realize, then. Because I don't see how that could happen. If doing this through Instagram is stupid, any other way you can see this happening? I'm open to more. I'll probably make my Instagram very private then. I'm not missing out on anything by not being on social media. But perhaps it's more convenient and doesn't do me any harm. There is no point in getting the number of someone that isn't …

Obviously they will. I'm not planning to follow women I have never met. Do followers and following count for much? Because I'll have a low number unless I add everyone I've met. (School friends, Club mates) I'm not creating an Instagram account with the hopes of meeting women. I'm creating an account to follow certain interesting people, but now that I am, I thought I'll try to connect with women I've missed out on, be it because I wasn't in the mood when I met them or forgot to take their numbe…

I add everyone I know. I post pictures and status that brings me value. Make fun of people I know. Drop my blog links here and there. Is that it?

How do you propose I go about making Facebook and Instagram?

And really? I hate posting pictures with other people in it. Seems like I'm revealing too much.

Social media isn't going to be a key component of my life but nevertheless, it's like your resume, but for all to see. Though I am curious. If you were to create a profile, would you add everyone you know or just people that you are close to? Is there a particular number I'm supposed to be hitting?

I don't think it is, unless people are suddenly willing to give up on 'relationships' that they've made. Though yes, I have seen white knights and women in all their social media glory.

I have seen many people point at video games as the problem. It is. It's like a trap. You start staying at home more playing video games. With lack of interaction, you start to develop social anxiety which leads less interaction with women, and therefore, porn.

Maybe you are trying too hard? It seems your friend is much more fun to hang out with.

Just from a little paragraph, you seem have zeroed in on your problem. Perhaps writing it out on a word document and then repeating it to yourself may be the stimulation you need to understand what you can do to break through your plateau.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
