My girlfriend Punched me because I declined sexIt’s possessions one day, your body the next. For your safety, get out. I’m sorry, OP. Thats so wrong on so many levels. Not saying this is the case, but sometimes when someone accuses their partner of cheating they’re actually projecting guilt from their own actions. Again, I’m drawing no conclusions whatsoever, but that’s something you might want to consider in the coming days should you have an opportunity to break it off. Side note… You may be able to press charges for damaged property too, … | /r/MensRights | 06/01/23 04:08 AM

Feeling abused here but struggling because I’m finding that, as a man, it’s that much harder to be taken seriously when asking for help/adviceI think what made my stomach jump into my throat was the whole “we’d only go out when she wanted to and I paid for everything” bit. You’re being used as a wallet, friend. A good woman (or non-gender-specific PARTNER) will NOT use you for anything. Especially money. Oh my god every single poly relationship I’ve witnessed/heard about has just been a dumpster fire. Why why why why do they still happen? It’s incredible to me. That said, run man lol. | 9 | Oh hey, a non-gendered government initiative against Domestic Family Violence? Hahaha. Nope. Funding for women's groups only.Women are more likely to use weapons such as scissors, knives, blunt objects, etc. to make up for a disadvantage in size/strength. Men might not have to worry as much about injury from being punched or kicked, but stabbed in the spleen... Also, women are more prone to using psychological abuse tactics. Gaslighting, especially. But there are some real serious problems we need to fix here. We’re unfortunately causing ourselves more problems too. Or at least, a crappy few sorts of people are. People are going hungry, without shelter; mental illness is flying off the charts (THANKS COVID). But nope, let’s tell the world that only our women are getting beaten. and never ever talk about the men becaus… | /r/MensRights | 06/03/21 01:27 AM |
I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened.Wtf did I just read... ugh. When I read stuff like that, it makes me feel like this fight is never not going to be an uphill battle. makes a person want to give up before they even try... which, hilariously enough, is EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT. France is definitely behind the times when it comes to custody laws. The UK and Australia have done well for themselves but Canada, France, and the USA...we are all stuck in litigation hell, reasonable women included. Sort of off topic, in the very near futu… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/03/21 05:07 PM
I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened.Depending on what you've been working on, when I get all my notes condensed and put into a document I can share the document with you; my project focuses specifically on the effects of divorce on kids and how fathers are not represented in court as adequate caretakers. My latest post on r/MensRights proves that there aren't a lot of people fond of the changes I'm hoping will be made to level the playing field a bit for dads. They're not deadbeats like moms usually are, imo. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/03/21 03:08 PM
I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened. So in December 1997 the Special Joint Committee for Child Custody and Access wrote a giant report called For The Sake of The Children. I'm talking a massive report including testimonies from adults and children involved in divorce proceedings. Some of the women's advocacy groups, mothers' legal counsel, and mothers themselves have been quoted NUMEROUS times that they believe children BELONG in their care and their care alone. Men, for the most part are abusive and they don't believe the children… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 03/03/21 03:19 PM
I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened.Definitely. Is there a specific topic you're wondering about? I have a list of all the documents but it's on my work computer, so I can compile them tomorrow based on what you're looking for. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 03/03/21 05:49 AM
Google is failing me.. Where are the forums/locations where men talk in long-form about their lives/experiences? Communities? If you want to vent, feel free to PM. I'm currently researching men's experiences (specifically in family law, but I also advocate for inclusive mental health) and if anything, getting things off your chest is at least the first step to feeling "better". | /r/MensRights | 02/03/21 10:52 PM
I am a woman who despises feminismYay! Another "sane" woman! Hugs to you, friend. Can I use this post as a reference for my own "project"? (my "project" is researching how due to years of toxic feminism, fathers are typically second to mothers when it comes to childrearing, esp. in court) What findings I already have are beyond disturbing. Eventually, when there is more evidence in support of the research, I want to take my findings to the news. This kind of post is what I consider another relevant statistic. Thank you for speak… | /r/MensRights | 28/02/21 06:58 AM
So I tried to post on an NDP Facebook page. It did not go well. It’s ugly. It’s gross. It’s costing lives as much as it’s ruining them. I cannot actually believe how frequent allegations are. Unlike the people in these screen shots, I’m open to learning about prevalent issues like these and you know, trying to at least not perpetuate the same treatment to others because it’s needlessly cruel. Dads are not the only ones that suffer. Kids become messed up over this stuff and perfectly fine relationships are ruined. I can’t stay quiet about it any more. | /r/MensRights | 28/02/21 04:04 AM
Need advice for a struggling father who had his son taken away.I am so sorry this happened to you. Check out my most recent three posts. I'm not a lawyer but I may be able to at least guide you in the right direction information-wise. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/21 06:11 AM
So I tried to post on an NDP Facebook page. It did not go well.Anyone that dares go against the grain where “woman good, man bad” is automatically the enemy and must be treated like the devil, dontcha know. Ugh. How about, neither of the sexes are really better than the other (there are differences in abilities and physiological characteristics, yes) and there are good and bad qualities that mothers and fathers can employ that make them...normal parents. But if we could at least make “parent” a gender neutral term with zero expectations... well, sitting dow… | /r/MensRights | 27/02/21 03:33 AM
So I tried to post on an NDP Facebook page. It did not go well.Ah yes a good argument is always backed with a strong base. I will remember this for next time... and thanks for the referral, I’ve been meaning to scroll through that page for some time. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/21 03:32 AM
So I tried to post on an NDP Facebook page. It did not go well.I was so full of rage earlier I almost threw my phone lol. Apparently, in later comments, I’m brainwashed | /r/MensRights | 27/02/21 01:44 AM
I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened.I wasn't aware of half the problems men were having until I started actually doing my own research and reading into statistics and whatnot. That's what the survey is also for, because I want current confirmation that this issue is as prevalent and problematic as ever. Feminism has brought in a wave of entitlement. Thank GODS I did not adapt that entitlement. I want to break noses of the women who did. But, I digress. I want you all to be heard, and I want to help raise your voices. I was put on … | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 26/02/21 03:17 PM
I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened.Thank you! It has been an emotional, heavy, hard uphill battle. My spouse has taken the worst of it. I feel helpless to take his pain away and my goal is to help not only him get the treatment in court that he needs, because it's not only him that deserves the fair treatment.......his kid does too. She's just as tormented by this battle. It's been four years since my spouse and his wife separated. Four years of hell. And I mean HELL. It probably got buried but I posted a link to my GoFundMe to s… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 26/02/21 03:11 PM

I've been reading heavily into fathers' rights via documents from the Canadian Department of Justice, and I am sickened. My favorite part of it is “mother knows best” and “father pays best” | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 25/02/21 02:20 PM
mods, remove if not allowed. Cross-posted from r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates. I am working on a project to change legislation on fair parenting time for fathers in court.I'd love to have discussions with others and hear different stories. The more information, the better. Also, it's proven that talking about the trouble a person has faced is cathartic as hell. And my inbox is always open. | /r/MensRights | 25/02/21 03:15 AM
mods, remove if not allowed. Cross-posted from r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates. I am working on a project to change legislation on fair parenting time for fathers in court.Kids need their dads. I’m working to help dads earn back the parenting time they deserve, their kids even more. I am not a lawyer, nor do I practice any law whatsoever. I have recently read many articles (source: Canada DOJ) and want to shed light on the common issue fathers face in court: the Nasty Trap. It’s barbaric. It messes kids and dads up. Let’s shift the power back for the sake of the kids and their families. | /r/MensRights | 25/02/21 01:52 AM
It's finally being acknowledged in other parts of RedditCurrently in the middle of a nasty battle with my boyfriend vs. His ex wife. She had him arrested this weekend because of a bruise she found a week prior to making the call to the cops, and now his daughter has been taken away for a month. He is devastated and so am I. I think women get away with far too much in the system and no one ever tends to stop and think that, gee, maybe that man loves his child JUST as much as his wife/partner. Just maybe. Ugh | /r/MensRights | 13/02/19 05:29 AM
