| 6 | Petition to remove SRS from RedditIt's such a weird idea, to "hate" reddit. I come pretty close to hating reddit culture. Day to day, I generally find it intellectually dogmatic and aesthetically desolate--compared to, say, the sort of concentrated wealth of ideas and discourse I could get from the blogs which I read much more frequently before I got hooked on reddit. That's on me, of course--that's my decision that the sheer entertainment I get here, and the sense of being closer to the pulse of the world, is worth the tradeoff… | /r/MensRights | 16/10/12 02:57 AM |
| 7 | Petition to remove SRS from RedditBecause it's lively, funny, exciting, dramatic, and sometimes even educational. It's funny--before Froolow's post blew up, I was reading his back catalog of posts, and it's kind of nuts, the disp… | /r/MensRights | 15/10/12 08:27 PM |
| 5 | Petition to remove SRS from RedditThe South Korea of subreddits? /r/starcraft? I jest. But surely you mean the North Korea? | /r/MensRights | 15/10/12 06:23 PM |
| 17 | Petition to remove SRS from RedditFroolow has another great post explaining "intersectionalism", which is a pretty central idea of much of current feminism. I'll quote from it, because I think it might clarify things: "Modern feminism used the term 'intersectionality' instead, meaning societies and institutions are structured in such a way to benefit a privileged class - usually white, male, heterosexual and fully-abled. You should think of these intersections of privileged as being orthogonal, so (stating the obvious) no amount… | /r/MensRights | 15/10/12 06:19 PM |
