I don't know what this sub has become. This is hardly a red flag at all. You're not submitting for him to lead - here's my advice on how you can change things. If this doesn't work, THEN it's a red flag. Instead of saying things like "I'm going to build my Ikea bed" or "I booked an 8 hour bus journey", actually give him an opportunity to lead. He's a simple man (I assume) and will not lead if he sees you already have a solution. Some naturally leading men would, many would not and will take what…

From what you've said, it seems like you've treated him well and yet, he still cheated. Good men don't do that. Personally, I could not forgive a man who cheated on me simply just because. Especially with an ex. If he can't control himself when he's thinking with his dick, what's stopping him from doing it again? Because the last time, the fact that he was in a relationship didn't. I'm sorry this happened to you. If you do choose to give him another chance, you should tell him you need full tran…

What was his reason for cheating?

Lots of green plants can make a huge difference! I usually only use candles as decoration, but both my decoration and usable candles tend to come from Etsy sellers. Lots of pretty ones to choose from.

My goals would be to fully clean and tidy this house (lots of decoration to remove and reorganise!) My other goal is to create 2 sets of press-on nails every day, as I need pictures to display them on my depop shop.

My partner's clothing style is questionable. He gets me to help pick his clothes because I'm way more into fashion than he his. I am very short so there are a lot of clothes that won't suit me nor fit me, and if my partner picks out my clothes, no doubt they would be too big or look bad on me. (For example, he'll see a midi blue dress on a model and may think I should wear it, but midi dresses make me look shorter and blue absolutely does not suit me. I don't expect him to know that though.) The…

Sounds very similar to my partner and I's early stages of our relationship! We were long distance for over a year. My only advice is to make sure you both have the same paths and goals in life, and know that at least one of you will have to be willing to move.

My face doesn't like propolis so unfortunately I had to pass on that one. I get mine as samples as well from eBay. Much much cheaper, and I don't mind missing out on the fancy bottle (in fact, I think the samples are so cute!)

I'm fully using Asian beauty products. They focus on hydrating which is a must for me as my face is dehydrated especially since I'm using BHA/AHA. I have naturally combination skin and hydrating helps with the dry areas and helps not making the oily areas oilier since your skin will produce more oil to compensate for the dehydration. AM: Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash (this face wash is gentle as it's low pH is close to the skin's) Sulwhasoo Essential Balancing Water (this hydrating toner just mak…

What a rare sight to see someone who is also under 5ft! 4ft10 here! I agree, I like to dress conservative but no matter what, people still see mostly as cute and never "frumpy" since I'm so small. A good slim body absolutely helps and allows you to wear many different types of clothes that may look less fitting on a larger person.

Maybe knitted leotards/bodysuits? I wear baggy trousers / flowy a skirts a lot so I need a tight top to balance it out since I'm so small and those do the trick for the winter.

Maxi black woollen skirts with colourful dress shirts tucked in looks nice and feminine. Uniqlo do nice fitted dress shirts. I find that any colour except black for woollen skirts might age you. Turtleneck jumpers look great with a black maxi skirt too. If you don't like heels, there are plenty of thin looking trainers that makes your legs look thinner (Nike TNs are my favourite). High heeled chunky boots are great for beginners and I don't think they squeeze my toes at all. Dangle earrings alwa…

Agree 100%. "Children miss nothing when their father comes first, but rather feel more secure and happy. This is because when you make your husband number one, you build a happier relationship with him. Your happy marriage will be the foundation of a happy home in which the entire family benefits. If you find it hard to understand how to make your husband number one in priority, without neglecting your children, keep this rule in mind: Don't put the comforts and whims of your children ahead of y…

Girl, quickies are your answer! Most men can cum in less than 3 minutes if they wanted to, which is great for when you are feeling lazy or have no time.

I guess us women are more receptive to sweet empathetic advice than the brutal bashing over at MRP/TRP. But I agree, I personally wouldn't put my partner through that. If I'm going through a period of not feeling up for sex, I still at least give him quickies because I'm not here to be home decoration.

Yeah I don't really get why you're being downvoted so much. I get that opposite schedules and two babies make things more difficult, but definitely not that difficult to find 5 minutes out of your day sometimes. How does OP do the dishes, make the bed, take a shit etc. because those take around 5 minutes too. Your partner is your #1 priority and your actions need to show it. I hope OP listens to the advice given here instead of rejecting it.

The kids can sleep at 8:30 every now and then; they won't notice. Almost 30 minutes is enough for a quickie before your husband leaves for work. Does he not get days off? 5 minutes for a quickie in the middle of the day whilst the kids are playing in a safe area or napping in the room next door is good enough I'd say.

I had pictures but they're on my very old phone from years ago so consider them lost! But I'm thinking of maybe starting an Instagram account for my new ones eventually! And damn I'm interested now in your story but I respect your decision to keep it anonymous. I love romance fantasy, especially the silly YA novels (guilty pleasure!)

This weekend hopefully all my nail art supplies come in so I can start making cute press on nails again! Nails were a hobby for many years a while ago, but it kind of just died down but after a few months of getting my nails done at the salon (and the fact that it was getting really expensive) my love and excitement for nails have reignited! I will still treat myself from time to time with going to the salon to get them done but I'm now excited that I can have a hobby again at home. May I ask wh…

Your mum, your responsibility. It is your job to do what's right for YOUR family and person YOU married. Controlling parents like your mum won't listen to you let alone your husband because it's about control. The only option I see is to send her away prematurely because she's adding unnecessary stress to your family's life. Your husband is hating this more than you are. Edit: or maybe I'm being too harsh because I read too much r/JustNoMIL and r/raisedbynarcissists

I'm thankful that I am able to stay at home whilst my partner works as the sole breadwinner. He has a great job and we're financially stable at a very young age. The deal is he works and I do the house chores, but there's not nearly enough house chores to do whilst he's gone! So he spent a lot of money on supplies for my new hobby at home. He's the best man in the world and no one can convince me otherwise. I'll stop typing now before I get emotional. :')

He's only 21. It's okay for him to be a bit indecisive at that age.

Maybe swap the tights/leggings for thigh high socks? My partner thinks they're cute and sexy and I would agree that they look better.

I agree. If I dress up for home, it just doesn't look comfortable and home-y which in turn affects my partner. We both want to feel comfortable at home.

You can always start off with shorter acrylics if your natural nails are very short. The ratio is no different than those who have extra long stiletto claws! I recommend doing it at a salon first as salon acrylics stay on much better than stick on acrylics.

I find myself doing such elegant and feminine movements and gestures with my hands that I wouldn't be doing if I didn't have long nails.

Congratulations on getting rid of your habit! You also get pretty and long nails with acrylics so I really see no big downsides! I always have a set on and I feel so elegant with them.

Maybe try acrylic nails! They are thick and much harder to bite, and since they're long you might not feel the urge to bite anymore.

I've tried Asos but even their petite fits too big for me. Their tops fit me fine but their dresses and trousers are still too long. I also left my sewing machine at my mum's so I can't shorten anything for now.

I've never seen those stores. I don't think there's very many in London sadly.

Ah, I find that those dresses are too flashy or too "young" for me. I only like plain dresses but the ones I see that I like are always too long. I've recently found some online Asian clothing stores that look promising though, as Chinese sizing always runs small.

I have a reed diffuser in every room. Usually does the trick! A clean cotton scent works amazing in the bedroom, and a more home-y fragrance like pumpkin spice for this autumn season in the livingroom to make it a more comfy place.

Hydration! I have oily skin; when I was younger I tried to get rid of all the oil and it just never worked. Now I realise that the skin produces oil if it's dehydrated, so now I work on hydrating my face and replenishing my moisture barrier. My skin is less oily than before. I also wished I used BHA and AHA products earlier. They work so well at giving me perfectly smooth skin! r/skincareaddiction is great, but I love r/asianbeauty even more. 'why does it matter what I look like. I am not vain and my job isn't going to fire me for having wrinkles.' I tried to explain it to him, but the best I can come up with is 'other people are superficial and you should care what they think'. I think a good reply to this would be "I think you look amazing in smart matching clothes. I would love to see you in them more often!"

I found RP because I realised he was the submissive one. When I suggested he read RP multiple times, he read a few posts and left it at that. I ended up telling him to read the whole sidebar because he wouldn't have himself. I'll let him do the rest on his own now. I won't be reading any RP anymore except RPW, and I'll delete this post soon so he won't find it.

Thank you, I needed to read this. I tried to let him lead for a few months, and it just wasn't working so I took all leadership back. I'll try harder to hand over my roles. Years and years I just saw him as incompetent due to his upbringing. I have more hope this time since he's actually reading RP now. Could you pinpoint me towards how I could "cultivate true feminine qualities beyond 100-level domestic tasks"?
