Men have to register in case there's ever a necessity to reinstitute the draft. There hasn't been an actuary draft since the Vietnam War, but they didn't abolish the draft, only suspended it. The draft exists to force men into military service if ever it was a case that voluntary service didn't cover need.

Nothing confusing here. She has a boyfriend, but she's always looking for validation. Just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score, but chances are she's pegged you as a potential orbiter so don't fall into that trap, forget it and move on.

I'm from the US and live in Taiwan now, used to live in Korea and have traveled all over Asia. No matter where you go the only girls that have more to offer are few and far between. Asian girls may be more feminine and traditional than western girls but most are every bit as shallow and vapid. Its easy to single out white women, but really, awalt.

Fine then, stop getting black out drunk and drink like a responsible adult. If you drank so much that it negatively affected your life, you drank too much. Also it's well known that Trump doesn't drink.

An older friend of mine is redneck kind of guy from Texas. He married a Chinese woman. At a family gathering his mom called his wife a gook. He told his mom, "she's not a gook, she's a chink!" Somehow it just works.

That's rough... I'm not exactly qualified to give rp advice by any stretch of the imagination, but it would seem to me that if she can't see past what your mom says or does on social media, or holds you vicariously responsible then its not going to work. However, if you didn't make it clear that marrying you isn't the same as marrying your family ( as it would be for people of latin American descent) and didn't distance your self from what she found offensive (if you believe you should, don't ju…

Nevertheless, you ought to err on the side of caution. Realistically, a 40 year "in a relationship" with an 18 year old probably isn't any less harmful than a 40 year preying on a 16 year old, but one must draw the line somewhere.

A lot of this resonates... I put way too much into my last LTR. The more I gave, the more she wanted, and ultimately the more she resented me for it in the end. Recently a girl I'm not that interested in has been chasing me, and I haven't decided if I'm going to plate her or not so I deflect with humor, don't respond to obvious bait, or give dgaf answers and I can see her attraction to me growing and growing. Its as counterintuitive as fuck.

I understand the desire to keep things together despite evidence that this relationship is headed towards the end. However, In life we can either make decisions or wait until decisions are made for us. Its always better to take control and make hard choices than it is to get swept into a situation over which you have no control just accepting the inevitable as it comes. Listen to these guys telling you to protect your assets and get a lawyer. This relationship will end, end it on your terms.

Sometimes these threads have sage advice, sometimes they are filled with damaged dudes projecting insecurity. Caveat Emptor. She should have discussed it with you. That's not in dispute. If it bothers you enough that its going to sow mistrust and resentment then next her. If not throw some dread and see if she falls in line. Watch for other unusual behaviors and patterns; could be a one off thing, might not be.

My Dad (55) is dating a woman my age (33). He was a little embarrassed to tell me, but I was just like "way to go Dad!". I've found that the older guys I know are a lot more receptive to RP thinking than guys my age, might be why he didn't want to tell me.

Different diet strategies all boil down to the exact same thing, your calories in have to be smaller than your calories out. You can do that with low carb/keto, with paleo, with intermittent fasting, you can even do it at mcdonalds ( wouldn't recommend it nutritionally though). Personally I like intermittent fasting, I skip breakfast and have 2 moderate to large meals between noon and 8 pm. I try to avoid sugar as much as possible and eat healthy stuff and kind of watch my macros but mostly just…

That would all depend on what you want and find fulfilling, wouldn't it? I used to work in a residential treatment center for troubled teens, most of whom had been adopted, in the foster system, or otherwise under state care prior to their arrival at our facility. Choosing to adopt may be noble and perhaps fulfilling for some, but it's also going to be a minefield of emotional issues often just by virtue of the absence of the biological parents in the equation. Raising another man's child as you…

I've lived in Asia for a while and its rampant over here, especially in Korea where it's so embedded in the culture that they have a word for it. ( https://youtu.be/sZxNfJMpr4g ) Usually when a Korean girl would try that with me I would mimic and tease her about it, or just tell her to stop. While its usually annoying I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that it could be kind of sexy in private.

In the grand scheme of things 2 years is nothing. The longer you stay together the more bitter and resentful it will be when it ends. It sounds like there's already a lot of resentment on both sides, that's toxic and you end up having the same argument over and over which is no way to live. Obviously only you can decide when enough is enough. You already know and just are having a hard time pulling the trigger.

The best place to look at job listings to get an idea of what's out there is probably http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/ However, Facebook may be the way to go these days. A buddy of mine from university went to Korea, suggested I try it out. He helped me find my first job, but its easy enough to find teaching work without any connections. Basically you need to have a 4 year degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university and that's about it (There are better jobs for licenced teachers). Other visa requirements vary from country to country. You don't need to know local languages to teach, as there is often a local co-teacher making half your pay …

Occupation : ESL/Kindergarten Teacher in Asia TLDR: I teach kids, travel, and enjoy an interesting social life. Came for the experience, stayed for the life style, but now what? When I was 19 I was renting a room from a 38 year old divorcee, our other roommate was just turning 30, the older guy told him "your 30's are so much better than your 20's, seriously so much better." At the time I was skeptical but now I totally agree - I'm 33, mostly single and this is definitely the best time of my life so far. Unattached means nothing holding you back, move to a city or even try a year or two in a another country just because you fucking can.

there is a difference between an intrusive yet passive suicidal thought and the contemplation of or urge to take your own life. I'll admit that during the my last break-up of a ltr I stayed up all night considering the act, but I realized that I didn't want to take my life, I just wanted her to feel as bad as I did, which is stupid, vindictive and weak... but more probably more normal than most people will talk about. Low self-esteem? I've know a lot of women in Asia that I would consider to be solid 7's or 8's that are constantly lamenting their lack of fair skin And other western features. Even in countries like Korea and Taiwan, where the women don't really want to leave their own country, I see a lot of hot girls with average (or worse) western men.

As men have most of the wealth, women marry for wealth. When a man shares his wealth with his wife, the wife takes care of him in return. This old equation is collapsing. You know what’s funny? Only number 2 is falling to pieces while number 1 still remains as is, fuck, ke ke ke. Women still think they are entitled to marry financially superior men but they neglect their duty to take care of their spouses.

What feminism claims to be, and what feminism actually is are two entirely different things. Feminism isn't about "Equality", at least not anymore. It's about creating pseudo-intellectual justifications for a distorted world view in which women are always the victim, always deserve special treatment, and never have to take responsibility for anything. They hide behind behind the word "Equality" to justify inequality to their advantage the way America hides behind the word "Freedom" to justify th…

Lived in Korea for 3 years and can't say that I ever found the majority of Korean men to be masculine. The current standard in Korea is the Kpop skinny boy with styled hair, very metro-sexual if you ask me. My Korean friends who were a bit older than me, mid-30's or so, weren't like that though, much more respectable. If we live in a patriarchy why do women get so much latitude for their sexual behaviour? I was talking about that question. Hypoagency is still the answer if we want to make it about the sexual assault of a minor. Women get a relative slap on the wrist because we allow them to make excuses. So yes, n…

It should mean something to the effect of a system of power that favors men and features institutionalized oppression of women but also, in theory, harms men...now a days its just a word feminists use when they really mean to say "men" but need something to justify their misandry.
