Backlash against Emma Watson’s “problematic” comments on feminismSo saying she won't date British men because they are reserved is shaming now. So if we fallow with this line of logic that you can be something with out you personally being attracted to it is contradictory. Than if I say you can have long hair as a male but don't personally like it means that I am contradicting myself. I am generally a libertarian so I believe people should have the freedom to do what you want. Does that mean I like everything people do personally? Not really. But that doesn't… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/15 05:21 PM
| -1 | Backlash against Emma Watson’s “problematic” comments on feminismUm people can have personal preference for the people they date. When did liking an out going person who shows confidence become a sin. As much as I don't like crazy feminist this is a real stretch in my opinion. Also when did being reserved and quiet mean not being macho. Any man can be reserved and shy yet still be macho. They aren't mutually exclusive. This comment is the same bullshit that people pull all the time. I don't like certain black person. Then you must be a racist. No I just don't… | /r/MensRights | 01/10/15 03:08 AM |
Teenage Girls Force Others to Have Sex as often as Boys Do - Inconvenient truths that demand Equality of response. It sound so simple right. If they say yes and agree to it, than it is consensual. If they say no and you still do it than its rape. But now we have coercion which could mean getting them drunk or guilty tripping them. Maybe that is being manipulative but it isn't rape. | /r/MensRights | 23/09/15 12:45 AM
Asking for consent: "No" means "no" but sometimes "yes" doesn't mean "yes".I'm in college and had to attend a meeting going over title 9(which is a horrible piece of legislation) and the whole thing about sexual assault and rape. Basically if a women is drunk and you have sex with her even if you get a yes, than its rape. Because she is inhibited or what ever. By that logic if I am drunk and having sex with a girl who is also drunk than we must be raping each other. Than I guess we both go to student judicial affairs and report each other. Like it makes zero sense that… | /r/MensRights | 18/09/15 12:40 AM
Tried to challenge my view on feminismWrong, but its a better mind set to have. One I wish more people would have. | /r/MensRights | 14/09/15 01:51 PM
Tried to challenge my view on feminismI think its easy for an individual to take a look at the other side when asking if they are indoctrinated and just look for evidence that supports their theory. You pick and choose things to support your argument. That is normal behavior and we all have trouble with new ideas that go against the status qou. Making a real attempt at being open minded can do wonders. I just disagree because you ask that question you are not. I mean think about how many times you face something you can't believe an… | /r/MensRights | 14/09/15 02:13 AM
Tried to challenge my view on feminismI think when you surround yourself with people who all echo the same message than it is very easy to get brain washed. It happens with all sorts of groups. When you just hang around evangelistic Christians all the time you have a good chance of being convinced that gay people getting married is bad. This goes true for any group. I recommend looking at all sides of an argument. Keeping an open mind about different issues is important because when you don't it turns into an us vs them. I agree wit… | /r/MensRights | 14/09/15 02:06 AM
