I really hated the MeToo’s statement on “believe all women” Have you met some women? My friends mom in the 80s had a threesome, and she when it came out, she said she was raped. My cousins bf was adamant about not wanting kids. She poked holes in the condom. Women can be vile creatures.

My friend works in a sex offender unit. They have back pain? They get surgery? A toothache, they get to see a dentist, etc. I feel everyone should have that

“Tell me you know nothing about menstruating without telling me you know nothing about menstruating”. Menstruation can literally have you shitting and puking at the same time, and can make you pass out.

I knew if I came to the bottom of the comment section and saw the downvotes I had found my people. My friend has debilitating migraines and she is allowed to leave work because she has documentation of her struggles with migraines. Her migraines as also tied into her hormones which fluctuate. Men never have, nor will, know what it is like to have a uterus that erupts every 28 days. It is a bill we have to involuntarily pay. If women even got a few more sick days, some men will still be so irate …

Women got the vote for doing nothing? This shows what you know of your history. There are thousands of men trying to take away women’s right to have a safe abortion right now. Are you intentional with this? Have you seen how many Planned Parenthoods have been closed down recently? How Texas wants to jail women for having an abortion? They just jailed a woman for having a miscarriage. It also just became illegal in 1993 for a man to rape his wife. You can chose to become an organ donor, and even …

Love the recent case where the man got a $400 raise at work. Baby momma takes him to court for more child support. The child in question is 11 years old. The judge asked the woman if she can work the woman said she can work she just doesn’t want to work. Monthly child support reduced.

There was a post on here about if women want rights to abortion, they need to serve combat active duty. At the end of the day the women still has the burden of carrying the child. Women’s right ≠ feminists.
/r/MensRights15/04/22 12:51 PM

There you go again. You’re right, this sub is not about abortion. But when men post here about their rights concerning abortion, and then saying a woman has no say … on a public forum. Do you see how archaic that is? And then throw in the feminist jab again … you just can’t help yourself? That’s your default counter-argument? “When I can’t come up with something worthy to say, I just will call her a feminist”. I have YET to debate anything? That is all I have been doing!
/r/MensRights15/04/22 04:03 AM

By calling me a feminist. It is degrading. The last two days you have worked to tell me how wrong I am and just resort to name calling. Abortion is the only major issue I take on here. And considering you don’t want to have a discussion on that, we are done here.

You’re being daft on purpose. You can’t use the argument, “men die providing for their families” because women also do the same. Can’t say daft statements and not be considered daft. Bahahahaha! So, you can generalize but I cannot. Women are the only stakeholder in pregnancy. How many men have died while giving birth. Because I stand for women’s rights, then I am broad stroke painted as a feminist. Rich. Concern trolling? So I am being disingenuous about my concern? Wha?
/r/MensRights14/04/22 03:58 PM

The only area I do not believe men should have a say is in abortion, because there is no equivalent. I will voice my opinion here and give my point of view. It is sad there can’t even be a discussion without being called a feminist. Any women who says anything opposing a man is deemed a feminist. Do you see how that takes away from the conversation?

I don’t hate men, I hate more women than men. I prefer men bosses, I prefer male children, I prefer male friends … but coming on here and commenting on anything which goes against what is being said and I get downvoted and called a feminist and a man hater. This sub has done more harm than good for the cause because of the way men conduct themselves on here.

The comment was in reference to OP asking why this sub gets hate, I explained my experience … and then a person said he was upset because I validate the point of this sub getting hate. You can’t give hate and then not be called out on it. That would be “having it both ways”.

Slow down, this IS exactly the point of my comment, which was about how nasty the conversations are here. The diatribe is exhausting. I initially came here because I am a supporter of men’s rights. I prefer men bosses, I preferred to have boys, men are some of my favorite people. I feel they are disenfranchised. But being here just shows how fragile some men are when they can’t handle discord. FaWk.
/r/MensRights13/04/22 01:37 AM

My whole point are the boys here, such as yourself, have such a hard time listening to another viewpoint. OP was asking why this sub got so much hate and you illustrated my point perfectly. The woman I was replying to just got dumped and wanted a boost … so I gave her a sonnet written by a man and NO WAY implied hating men.

You read vertically and not laterally. You will never end abortion, just safe abortion. This is not an issue of race, but an issue of class because the wealthy will always be able to afford it.

There are 400,000 kids in foster care in the US, and 117,000 actively seeking adoption for all of those couples happy to adopt. From what I can find, 20,000 of them go unadopted each year. One way to stop abortion is birth control, but all the planned parenthoods around have closed.

It seems when I (F) have commented on anything opposing a guy on here, it instantly turns ugly, like they cannot even validate. They equate women giving birth to their finances, as if women also do not suffer financial burdens on top of the physical ones. They call you a feminist and downvote. Few men on here have decorum.

And then when it comes to the teacher view, you know both parents need to be notified, but the mom will often throw a shit fit because she acts as if she has to be the filter between the school and home. One teacher refused to meet mom and dad’s separately. One of my favorite families, both mom and dad came in with their new spouses. They got along well, and I can only imagine the love that little boy felt being surrounded by all that support.

As if the man solely pays and the woman also doesn’t not have any financial hardships. What is one thing during pregnancy that is equal.

Yes! I can agree with this! I also think there needs to be a paternity test done at birth to ensure paternity regardless if the woman refuses. Most recently there was a video of a woman who heard her baby daddy got a $400 raise. She took him to court. She actually stated she refused to work even though the child was 11. She literally said, “I can work, but I don’t want to”. Really funny to watch her fuck around and find out when the monthly amount was lowered.

I couldn’t afford to be a teacher if I didn’t have my husband’s salary to make up the difference. We absolutely need more men in education, but many as you said, cannot afford the college and then the low wages. This is MY opinion, but I feel with females saturating the teaching field, students are missing out on things men bring to the table as educators. Students need people who they can relate to.

I am totally against circumcision, and advocate for its end, but a man is still able to have an orgasm even being cut, even though it is less than. Female circumcision removes the entire clitoris. No clitoris = no orgasm.

That was a lot of words to say without coming to the conclusion “men cannot birth babies”. If there was only a level playing field, but there isn’t. Men can be mad all day long, but at the end of it, women are ultimately left with being responsible for carrying and delivering the child. People can downvote me, but it all comes down to that.

No, they do not have the right to have control over someone else’s body. It isn’t fair, which is the whole point. It isn’t fair to the man, and it isn’t fair to the woman. I love how literally growing a human in your body equates to money. They are not the same. After the man ejaculates, then there is nearly ten months of growing the human, labor and delivery … and then breastfeeding the child afterward and getting their own body back all which is the women’s responsibility … no where can they tag out and have a break … at all. … and men want to talk about their paycheck as if the mother also doesn’t have a financial burden on top of a physical one?

Bahahahahahaha … your anger has you blinded. I am not your enemy. It is really simple. If you chose to not be an organ donor, you can die with your organs in your body. A pregnant woman does not have rights for her own body, meaning a corpse has more rights than a living woman. Pure, simple, clear fact. People are saying if we want rights, we need to serve in active combat, I am not disagreeing with you. But you really don’t see the err in that? Men are the ones who came up with that notion. Men…

You are still missing the point. Women AND men chose to have sex, but only the woman is burdened with the physical aspects of it. We should have the choice to abort, but we don’t. Child support? Are you fucking kidding me? Child support is the easiest form of child care. Once again, let’s focus on the issue, which is if women want equal rights, they should serve, but men will never have the option of giving birth. Why does a woman wanting body autonomy have to come down to serving, when men will…
/r/MensRights28/02/22 06:22 PM

I’ll reiterate again. The point of my comment was to counter the thought, “if women want equal rights, they should serve” But, nowhere will a man ever be faced with having to carry a child. Ever. So woman can serve, but a man will never give birth. You also bring up a good point, how many men have died during childbirth? 660 died in 2008, how many men died that year?
/r/MensRights28/02/22 06:05 PM

Whoa! You can’t see the forest through the trees. Plainly, women want to be able to choose to carry a child to term. But you are saying if you want equal rights, you need to serve. But we will never be equal because men will never have the option of caring a child at all. Women couldn’t open a checking account alone until the 1970’s, have only been voting for a year and you know it became illegal to rape your wife in 1994? So when you talk about us wanting rights for over a century, you act like…

You’re still missing the making a point … how can men ever give birth? So women can serve AND still give birth, but it is still one sided. You can downvote me, but it won’t give you the necessary equipment to birth a child. Once again, woman can serve … men will never be able to birth children. Your point is moot.
/r/MensRights28/02/22 03:00 PM

How? Men can serve Woman can serve Woman can birth children Men cannot birth children. I do believe women should serve in all capacities, but not because we want freedom to choose whether or not to carry a baby to full term.

The person I commented to said men tend to work more overtime. It is okay then for it to be thought, “men are harder workers then women” But it blows your mind to delve into why that is? Seriously? Which toys for little boys are geared toward them being a housekeeper? Which toys are geared toward boys being dads? As a woman, I am appalled by his comment as well. This is the reason men don’t come forward with abuse and this is the reason abuse continues. Why does the man have to be a bigger person? It depends upon circumstances I suppose … I did have a friend who signed away his rights, but the mother was okay with it. There are also caveats where child support is based on income, and from a teacher stand point, I know a lot of kids with absent fathers who do not pay child support because they don’t have a job, or they work under the table or they just disappear and it is the mother’s job then to hunt them down. I teach. I know many a kid whose father just walked out and does not pay anything. Not every single mother relies on their family to raise their kids either. It is mentally draining raising children, which is why I said it is way easier to just be the parent who is absent and just gets to send money … I am not saying working is easy, but it also not easy being with children all day.
