While swallowing the pill is important, having a social group is also important. Within reason. A group for the sake of a group invites crab bucket mentality and complacency, whereas a group of people sharing similar goals provides a multiplier on your commitment for self improvement. When it comes to dealing with other people in general, I follow more of a MGTOW method than monk mode. In that; I interact with people as the opportunity arises and is reciprocated (I've had great conversations wit…

INTJ-A (The Architect); still INTJ but I have become less involved socially with others. This personality test (and other similar tests tend to have the same result) should explain how I was able to so quickly absorb the sidebar and judge for myself, as a man does and should IMHO, the value of the sub. This was before the mocking of TRP became 'the new trend' in other areas of Reddit.

The crime is a convenient plot device for the wife to hamster an excuse for the husband about her sexual adventures with the boss. Regardless of the validity of the OPs tale, the crime is almost certainly fake.

I'm on the list, what do I win? :D Thank you, poor folks of the circle, for such a mighty award. Your right about the delight-fulness of the award OP; as I broke my 'no emoticons' rule to accept it.

I'd make it into a full post, but the fat, dumbass neckbeards will call me an idiot. You shouldn't have any issues doing that in here; people in the latter category tend to find posting in TRP impossible after a while, thanks to the outstanding moderation team of this sub. Aside from that; I'd say having such a post, read by those who would actively absorb the information provided, would outweigh the inconvenience of a few hecklers.

I think some of us tend to forget that we are few and far between. Very few people are capable of unplugging because it requires such a unique set of characteristics. I wouldn't exactly call it "superior knowledge," but I would say that each and every one of us has the unique capability to consider any standpoint as a potential truth. Critical thinking skills is what your reaching for; the ability as a man to weigh up a particular matter of interest by gathering as much useful information as pos…

Wanted to add one more thing. Have you noticed how if you get the number of a chick from a bar/club, you have to wine and dine her at least once to screw her... But if you meet her through friends or out on a day game, you can straight up skip all the wine and dining? Pre selection. Her friends think a man introduced in this manner is such a catch (high value) so she must have him. Her friends get feel good vibes from playing matchmaker when it works out, whilst when it doesn't then he was a cre…

Cringe worthy. The thought of calling for a son from across the house, named after her favorite Chad, makes my skin crawl. I'd be wondering if expecting is mine at this point.

The best cure is to fuck one of said friends. The convert a gay man fantasy; because to pull that off, in a woman's perspective, means she is highly desirable.

From what I gather, most people got here either through other parts of the manosphere or through seeing people bitch about TRP on reddit. Reddits random feature got me here; subscription numbers were well under 20,000 at the time so I missed out on the 'avoid this sub' drama. I would have ended up a subscriber regardless, given I was a man who would research and draw his own conclusions on whatever piqued my interest rather than go with the flow (off topic, fun song to play in Rocksmith 2014). I…

You sound a little jealous bro. What is there to be jealous of? All a promiscuous woman has to do in her younger years is eat right, dress appropriately, divide the legs to whatever guy grabs her attention (TRP shows you how to be that guy also btw.) and pray not to multiply. A little thing TRP refers to as 'the wall' will explain why I am not jealous of that, aside from the cocktail of problems such behavior does to women also explained over there in the side bar. --> Actions have consequences;…

Most of the old school Britons I talk to are moving/planning to move to Australia. It doesn't seem much better over there to me though either. Long story short, it's not the greatest nation in the world. Ironic it has IMO got worse in the recent few years, with the current PM being of UK origin, but generally still better than Britain currently as illustrated by /u/ForgeAndTemper . Things are getting interesting economically down here, so I would wait until the dust settles before committing to …

Messy bathrooms. A common theme to be found where three or more women share the one and only bathroom at any location (house, dorm, work site, public facilities, yup same problem). A clean bathroom is one of the things I appreciate the most when I use my own crapper; the lack of mess from the billion dollar industry (cosmetics, perfumes and several bottles of different shampoos), no clogged plumbing or taps left dripping/running and that tangy iron smell that occurs every twenty-odd days because…

As the famous song goes "girls just wanna have fun" and there are plenty of guys available to give it to them, as originally written by Robert Hazard. Detailed by Archwinger 4 months ago, use the song title to find his post (auto mod deleted my previous post that linked it).

Agree with your post, minor error though. ' I will say is other pictures at the bottom are half decent. He's having fun, with friends, doing interesting things. Note there are ZERO women around in any of them.' Not really much of a looker IMO^ but in wearing a red top on the left is a member of our female sub-species. It is the bottom right pic, next to the posing in front of an average looking white car (something a little more interesting in a shade of blue is parked behind it) and has the sub…

enjoy the decline Nothing more we can do. Sure we can educate a few ready to read the sidebar, or help people in other ways and make some bank along the way, but on a global scale this really is the best strategy you can employ. Enjoying the decline to me means being able to tune out from the negativity around you; crab buckets and other bad influences, taking things in your own stride with a TRP influenced map plan to take on opportunities as they come and avoid common misadventures. I delibera…

In the context of /u/GayLubeOil 's post, what he means is that comments and discussion on a website beyond the control of Reddit will be more direct (straight talk I think that is). Discussion would become more brutally honest in comparison to those inside the sub here, with even less sugar coating because we would only be restricted by the rules set by the owner of such a site and not those enforced on Reddit. It's not about a call to arms against Reddit for closing down TRP; quite the opposite…

The man may not know what a claw hammer is, may have other skills that would be beneficial to starting that company (management for example). A ground up approach would provide useful experience and lead to better management and outcomes in the long term, if the business reaches the point of hiring experienced people to provide the labor.

I disagree. While they don't have skin in the game on the tax side of things; they are still affected by government policies. My view hasn't changed in the 2 months since I posted a response, which I can not link due to the auto mod in this sub.

IMO, nobody should be allowed to vote if they're on the dole and/or don't have skin in the game as people are selfish fucks. I disagree. While they don't have skin in the game on the tax side of things; they are still affected by government policies. Changes in corporate/business law, for example, can add or subtract available job numbers and thus affect chances of those, on government benefits being denied the right to vote, the opportunity of gaining employment (men being more likely than wome…

If a man doesn't know what he respects about himself, how is he going to find other men to respect? If a man doesn't respect himself, then he also can't set standards by which he sets for women to follow in choosing suitors for a LTR. Just an additional thought I had to your brilliant post.

If that happens, move outside the borders of the legal entity forcing you to pay. I read that post as being borders of a more national variety than state based. 30K (save in cheaper currencies) is plenty of reasons, or hours worked to earn thereof, that makes the decision process incredibly easy for the more frugal readers of this sub.

How should I live my life and be respected? However you choose to live it. All I ask is that you choose wisely (know the risks with every choice plus read the sidebar if you haven't already); and do so for yourself (where possible if you have children and other obligations of that nature) without care nor regard of the fleeting opinions that is respect from others.

How is this helping people in this sub to improve themselves or learn something new? Takeaway point; women seek consensus (you go girl feels, save snowflake sympathy on monthly complaints) from their peers. While I myself am already familiar with that point (off topic: I've read the sidebar and tend to lurk more than post), new readers to the sub learn this point while those more familiar have it further reinforced by the evidence presented with this analysis. In short; revision for the long tim…

would you debate a mentally disabled? you are wasting your time. An exception applies to debates on the internet; where of course the person being debated does not have the power of censure, as the audience is more than just the person for whom this response was initially compiled.

What on earth would someone spend 8000 a month on in retirement? It is an educated guess on the OPs behalf; the source of that I think would be based on the rate of inflation those in their 20s and 30s will experience between now and when they (barring death of either themselves or the USD) reach their 50s. 8k in the future won't go as far is it does today, which is really not that far at all compared to 1971 (or even further back if you consider the gold standard). It is the willpower (some call it stubbornness) to stick to your own values, opinions and decisions without caving in to those of somebody else. Here the OP decided he didn't want to put up with the emotional drama of this plate so told her to leave. Something, something 'my feels' is all I get out of this. Where's the concern for mine at the humor I get on long boring road trips and happen to see one of these vans? It breaks the monotony of a few hours on the road, and may even have kept people more attentive on the roads, as opposed to yet another generic white van. Besides which, from an advertising viewpoint, it clearly works as demonstrated by the 104,000 petition signatures so far on that spammy (different and more important petition a…

Good because land always appreciates in value and is typically inflation proof. False. Will Detroit suffice as an example? http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130221/METRO01/302210398 Such blinkered thinking will be the demise of the property markets in some parts of Canada and the metropolitan regions of Australia. Property values can rise and plummet due to so many factors that I wouldn't look at it as being good debt on the investment side of the equation. Utilitarian wise OTOH (say a decent…

I'd find that interesting, just try to tie in the financial angle as well. How women entering the workforce has shifted employment dynamics and less men are as successful in the workforce than previously. One of my theories is that when men become so unsuccessful in the workforce (and ultimately in other financial matters, noting the increase in years of work required to pay off the median mortgage) they lose the drive towards success in other areas of their lives, hence the increase in bad rela…

the information is out there. IMO he was so over confident (he invested his confidence in her and this relationship, not himself hence this act of desperation to save it and regain his confidence) being in a LTR that he thought he was above internet relationship advice, he didn't NEED threads like this. Another point of concern may be that she was the dominant party of this relationship; one aspect of which was cutting off avenues to socialize with other men that could have ensured he stuck by t…
