Fat is a choice. The simple chemistry of fat is if you take in less than you expel (exercise or anything else), you will lose fat. Any other argument is a deflection of that truth and an abdication of responsibility. And I'm saying this as someone without a six-pack.

you clearly missed the point of the film. Lester lives with a wife who doesn't respect him as a man or a person. She doesn't feel sexual attraction for him, and indeed he doesn't feel good about himself. He has an epiphany that he needs to start living life on his terms--WHICH IS AS FUCKING REDPILL AS IT GETS--and starts taking better care of himself (aka lifting, essential), executing dread game, and doing whatever he wants. This is the essence of this sub, and it's a pity it went over your hea…

Brokers in general aren't smart--their job is almost purely sales. Traders on the other hand are all intelligent--thats the chief requirement of their job. Bankers are neither traders nor brokers, but have both sales and intelligence in their job description. But very few people, especially at the top firms, aren't intelligent. The interview process simply makes it too difficult and the competition is too great.

I will be working in i-banking this summer. Almost universally the people I have met in the recruiting process have been incredibly smart and very social. It attracts high-quality people, not sure where you got that impression from. Can they be arrogant and inconsiderate? sure, but no more so than others, in my limited experience.

Who gives a shit? No good deed goes unpunished, as the saying goes. Does that mean you shouldn't do good deeds? In fact, the threat of getting fucked up makes this that much more non-white knight. White knights are pussies, doing shit for adulation, most of the time at 0 risk to themselves. This guy probably realized the danger and did it anyway.

Catcalling a woman, as in "HEY YOU'VE GOT GREAT TITS!" right at her in public is completely obscene. Not sure how you can make a case for that. People who do that ought to be punched in the face.

Had a feeling this would make it here. Downvotes be damned, I feel like something needs to be said about this. TRP has gotten into its head that any protective behavior towards women from men has its roots in White Knighting. This is fundamentally incorrect. A man, at his essence, is a strong being, capable in the fundamentals of pursuit, dominance and protection. Most of us, the good ones at least, have an instinct to protect those around us with lesser strength, and sometimes that includes wom…

That's my point. You're a man--push back. Its his job to stand up and make logical decisions. She had the run of the place, he went along with all of it, and then she ended up basically supporting him on his 38k per year job. He has only himself to blame.

The US wasn't close to being a world economic power then. In fact, our armies required foreign officers to oversee training as our military wasn't close to European quality. Remember, the Industrial Revolution was well underway in Britain, spreading to the rest of Europe, but had yet to become fully developed in the US. Only after the clear disadvantages (as mentioned in that book) of the slave economy gave way to steel and oil industries did the US become a world power.

The slave trade did not make the us a world power, please. First off, by 1808 there was no slave trade, it was illegal to import slaves. Second, the us became powerful as a result of the industrial revolution, most of which took place in the north. And furthermore, the majority of services you state the North provided weren't aimed at the South. They were aimed at Europe, and particularly England.

Gotta love that she chalks up her job as "intimidating" guys, to the point where they refuse to date her. Guys by and large aren't "intimidated" by women. They can be turned off by women, however, namely women whose approaches to relationships come from entitlement and delusion. When you take about 13 years to realize that a man is a priority, don't be surprised when none come calling.

I've noticed that as well. Socialism is based not on logic of what drives human beings (pursuit of self interest) but rather a desire for utopia above all else. They fail to see the forest for the trees. Feminism is the same. By joining the rat race women think that they are becoming empowered and their lives will be full of meaning now, forgetting that men and women are inherently different and that we want different things.

I can't understand people who think a marriage is worth saving once their wife allows some other person to put his dick inside of them. Its over. Everything a marriage stands for is based on fidelity. Once that is done, the relationship is done--there is no coming back.

I really dislike where this thread and angle of RedPill is going. Listen I believe in hypergamy and the fickle nature of women as much as the next guy. But I also believe in never raising a hand to a woman and that yes, sometimes they do hit, but usually not enough to cause damage. Guys on here need to stop crying about rape and getting hit by women; were much stronger than they are, if they hit you just walk away it isn't a big deal. OP you're congratulating yourself prematurely. /r/TheRedPill30/03/14 02:06 AM

Not sure why you're getting down voted but this is exactly right. If a guy is friends with a girl that he wants to hook up with, there will be at least some sexual tension there--and it isn't because the girl did something special to bring it on. If there's no sexual tension, he probably isn't attracted to you and "making yourself open" isn't going to change that.

I would say he's addicted to the act of sex with zero emotion or judgment; 'medicative sex.' Sex with a wife is full of emotion/judgment that takes the 'fun' out of it. Sex with other regular women is also messy. But sex with hookers is basically sex with a real live hole that involves nothing except a release. When you start jeopardizing your life for a release, its an addiction.

Hes attractive; my gfriend says so and his ex-wife was hot. He suffers from major addictive tendencies and you can tell he's not really in control. When you destroy your life because of sexual behavior your libido is no longer high, its evidence of an addiction. There has been plenty of literature on this.

This is incredibly important; men aren't 'scared' of loud aggressive women because they don't find these women attractive and will decline to make any advances. Ironically, the women who truly scare men are the 10s and supermodels, and many of them know this.

OP is still in the 'friendzone', he just isn't a friend anymore. Sara will tell her friends with a shudder (no offense, OP), "OMG Bob told me he wanted to date me--SOOOO awkward. Sucks that we can't be friends anymore." 'Getting out of the friendzone' entails her thinking differently about you as …
