You do realize that it is recognized by WHO that ANY form of "pricking, piercing, incising, scraping and cauterizing the genital area" with no medical purpose as FGM right? It's not a "false equivalence" if the definition of FGM literally applies to male circumcision except for its exclusivity of males

To be honest, yeah. I do. But I think what makes it a lot different is that the women in my life have much more of a positive impact on me than the negative impact my mother had. I don't think that's fair. Everyone tells her that MRAs are sexist and mysogynist, the media is overwhelmingly feminist, schools have a strong bias towards girls and teach girls that men have historically had power over them, so I could understand an ill-informed expression of opinion such as that. This is on r/pussypassdenied which it should be but it's important to recognise these teachers are still getting a pass on the aspect that matters the most: public opinion. They can probably still find jobs (albeit not teaching jobs), they most likely won't lose any friends, and what's worse is that there are certain aspects of the press that find doing this virtuous. Also, even considering the fact she is a minor, legal precedent has had people as young as 13 tried as adults for violent crimes.
