Interesting how he expects her to do all the work in every aspect... but he's the captain? Thats not how it works.

That's fair :) My sleeping schedule isn't set in stone, literally a week ago I was going to bed at 10pm-11pm and waking up at 9am-10am. But I've had a bad and very eventful week and it reverted back because I wasn't paying as much attention to it..

I was hoping for more constructive criticism rather than standard "leave him." comments

His love language is spending time together so I do see why he'd be upset at the thought that I don't care enough to fix my sleeping pattern so we can talk more. But as I said in the another reply, we talk at least an hour a day (it's usually more).

Honestly, my sleeping pattern really only takes off like 3-4 hours of potential communication. I do wake up around his suppertime and we usually talk for a few hours then, and a few hours when he wakes up. So it's not too much damage to the amount of time we can talk, and regardless of that, I always try to make sure we can call for at least an hour a day.

I was hoping that if I told him then he'd get curious and actually read the responses then realize that his behaviour is problematic.. He wouldn't ever punish me or anything like that no, I just wanted him to see that men shouldn't act like this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
