Groping is assault and should be prosecuted, but I object to the idea that a public place of business should not be patronized by anyone and everyone. No group has a right to exclude others; if you want to do that, form a private club, say for gay men, lesbians, asians, caucasians, etc.

There is a book from the early 70s called "Working", by Studs Terkel... it contains interviews with people from many walks of life. Was very helpful for me.

This isn't a recommendation to not invest your money (indeed, if you keep it all in cash, that is a bet on the dollar), but realize that no one ever knows what will happen in the future. For example, gold: it can get stolen, or even outlawed by the government as it was in the U.S. in 1933. Stocks can go down for decades: Japan is a great example. Real estate, we have recent examples, and while one would think that owning rental property is safe, situations like we are in now can make tenants una…

If you drug someone and then have sex with them, that is rape, because they can't consent, even if they do.

Having invested for about 20 years, through two major crashes, I have learned that there is always risk, and to never give advice. It is not wrong to ask for it, of course, I certainly have in the past. But, anything can happen. Hopefully that is not advice!

In every culture, there are "so many" poor people for one reason: they breed. To quote the late Michael Jackson: if you can't feed your baby, then don't have a baby.

Also, Spokane WA is a pretty cool place. Lots of info about US cities and towns can be found at city-data.com especially via the forums.

Tennessee isn't the West, so if you want a real 180 turnaround, you might consider more places if you have misgivings about Las Vegas: in NV, Reno, or maybe New Mexico/Arizona. NM actually has its own Las Vegas.

It's ok for a woman to abort a baby without the father's consent. However, if a woman births a baby, the father should then have a unilateral right to kill that baby within the interval of time it would have been legal to abort during pregnancy (varies by state in the U.S.).

Not only are trade schools are underestimated, but also non-traditional (these days anyway, but traditional years ago) education in the crafts. It is still possible to become an apprentice by just offering to start work for free in a shop or with a master and learn something really unique and valuable.... I did this years ago with musical instrument repair, and am still at it as a self-employed person.

She would deserve getting hit (only) if she hit first. There is no justification for physical violence in response to words.

I work on cruise ships... the entire crew is about 80% male. All of the truly difficult jobs are handled by men, such as galley, engine, etc. The women on board do work long hours, however... typically in positions such as waitress, bar, housekeeping, security, guest services, entertainment, and of course HR.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
