You are being used. She’s unwilling to let go of a fantasy idea of a man in her head that isn’t you and also doesn’t exist. She wants someone to come into her life that’s more attractive than you, more successful than you, more interesting than you, ready to fully commit to her and not explore the options that a man like that obviously would have. She wants you as an emotional safety net. You are being used.

I suck at approaching, but can hold a conversation (even if it is mostly nervous babbling to make sure there are no uncomfortable (for me) silences). Then I suck at getting flirtatious and making a move. Somehow I’ve got a little bit of a grasp on the middle, but none on the beginning or end. Hate myself for it too.

I’m as stuck as you are in this as I think I often give of friend vibes, but I think a mistake here is trying to write that? You aren’t trying to sext. You make things sexual in person.

It’s crazy, like I get that obviously if you are attracted to someone and they’re a friend that doesn’t feel the same way then it’s a difficult thing to deal with, but that shit goes both ways. I’ve got female friends who are in relationships, female friends I don’t find attractive, and female friends I would love to be in a relationship with but I know don’t see me like that for the same reasons a lot of other women don’t. It’s just normal? The idea that you’re being used unless you’re being en…

Reading shit like this makes me want to kms. 11 year relationship, straight on apps and hooking up left and right. Meanwhile I’ve never had a ltr, rarely get dates, and never get hookups. I want to find someone SO BADLY, and the “problem” here is fucking drowning in options and wanting more…

Yeah, I was at a friends birthday and one of his female friends (who is engaged) made out with maybe half a dozen different guys at the club we went to. Crazy to witness.

Girls love it when you’re in a long term relationship and say “will you marry me?”

Women don’t need to do anything to be “seductive,” friendliness and flirtiness are pretty close together — just don’t do any of that hard to get bullshit, keep talking to a guy you’re interested in, make it known you’re single, get close and break the touch barrier first.

A smile really is not enough, smiling is gonna be just being friendly more often than not. Who doesn’t smile at people they aren’t interested in? Touch me for no good reason, and drop into conversation that you’re not seeing anyone/are single/boyfriendless and that sells interest and availability at least… or the girl could just do the asking lol

As a black guy that’s really crushing on some Asian girls recently, this isn’t what I needed to see.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
