They say that more people should simply be told not to hurt others, and while this may be true, it's a naive way to go about things. There will always be fucked up people who know it's wrong but do it anyway, and every one of us, male or female, needs to know how to protect ourselves. It's really too bad that this mindset is considered blaming the victim.
