I haven’t really followed this but when you see a divorce settlement this one sided (he’s getting like $140M out of $180M fortune) it usually means the person on the short end of the stick was caught trying to hide assets.

You’re probably right because of the social side effects.

It’s kind of an old myth. You’re correct there is no real change in the metal. It does give you an excuse to buy more goodies. Shaving can be a quite addictive hobby. I have razors from both of my grandfathers, one from my (now deceased ) father, and one from my paternal great-grandfather.

Best decision ever. Shaving goes from a chore to a meditative ritual each morning. Also nice choice in Proraso. Love their stuff for day to day use. Just as a friendly pointer if you’re not aware it’s generally considered a good idea to let a blade “rest” a day between shaves. You’ll want to get a second one if you need to shave daily. Welcome to the club.

Love all of Proraso products. Their shaving cream is my go to although occasionally I have to use some of my favorite Taylor of Old Bond Street scents. Proraso after shave is my daily with (vintage when they were still owned by Shulton and not P&G) Old Spice for occasions. To the OP welcome to the world of wet shaving. Shavettes like in your photo can be difficult to master and a true straight razor is probably easier.

Get a straight razor. One time investment between $100-$400 and never buy blades again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
