Did he actually argue against it? If he did, I missed that part.

Yeah I learned when I was younger to never go on a handshake. There's no reason for someone in business that's being completely straight with you to not enter a contract. If they won't, you probably dodged a bullet.

I just figure it's nice to know all the options. Who knows, maybe one of these deals is enticing enough to forgo the Morton, or vice versa. You might be right, though.

Here's just one example, but I encourage you to do a bit of googling around about it, because there's tons of stuff out there like this: http://www.kshb.com/news/state/kansas/small-kansas-town-gives-away-land-for-new-homes-to-attract-new-residents

People say things change when you get married. For us, it was the next day. The next. Day. Like a light switch went off in her head. A couple days before she was my cool girlfriend who's company I enjoyed. After, she was on a future-building mission and I damn well better be in lock-step, or else.

What scares men most changes after you get married- it's your loss of your sense of agency you fear. Quite a legitimate fear, indeed.

If I was in that situation and thought that was the case, I'd go meet up with her just to not buy myself lunch in front of her and not buy hers.

"I can't, I'm going to go hang out with someone." "Who?" "You don't know them."

I've found that universally, the most devastating thing you can do is ignore them. In this case, that would be no response, give her back a whole lot of dead air. Drives them insane.

If you aren't too picky about where you live, there's lots of places in the country that give you free land as long as you build a home on it.

The greatest thing about getting older is the waning sex drive. It's like slowly waking up from a trance.

You bet her ass since she went through what being accused is like, she's kept it in the back of her head as a get-out-of-jail-free option to whip out at an opportune moment (now).

Most of what happens to the women in this piece are what normally happens to the man. But when it happens to the women, it's a god damned national tragedy that needs reporting on.

"I'm not having it." You sure are, bitch. 12 years of it. Eat shit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
