•... or being significantly decieved about the situation. Do you care to you elaborate on this? Under what circumstances could one claim to have been 'significantly deceived' about the situation? It seems unreasonable to claim that a lie about age, salary, birth control, etc. would amount to rape. I'm not sure it necessary should be called 'rape' but certainly a crime. I'm thinking if you were deceptively exposed to an STD such as HIV.

Especially at school. This was certainly the case with a group of girls bullying another girl in my class, it went on for 4-5 years really horrible when I think back.

You're really asking what is the meaning of the universe; we will never know and there might not be one. Therefore we give life meaning by living by a moral code to hold ourselves to a high standard. Just because it is subjective doesn't mean it isn't worth doing, what is the alternative?

it makes certain human beings we ought not to call persons, persons I'm aware that a 'person' is a legal entity. Whats more to the point is why ought they not to be 'persons'? To be honest though I may have gave the impression that I'm against abortion in this thread, I'm not really keen on legally opposing it. I prefer to make the moral case.

Obviously I'm not scientifically illiterate and you are talking about least arbitrary. Further you must consider that law is governed by 'action' and the removal from the womb would be an 'act' of termination. It would potentially grow into a human if you did not 'act'.
