Hah based on your downvotes, I'd say you are correct. DON'T BE A DENIER BRO. EVERYONE KNOWS THE EARTH HAD A SINGLE STABLE CLIMATE UNTIL THE CAPITALISTS CAME ALONG AND INVENTED CARBON DIOXODE.

Workaholics are good though because all that overtime is being sent to the shared bank account. Playing videogames is pure pleasure only for the male, and females don't like that because they get nothing out of it. Reminds me of the post I saw on reddit today of a girlfriend not giving a guy sex for 5 days and then gets mad at him for jerking off. The entire comments section was married guys saying how little sex they get. Fucking sad.

I blame Facebook and other social media. Post selfie. Get likes and "ur so hot" comments (mainly from other women, hoping to have the self-esteem boost returned on their own selfies). I'm so hot.

Because it's their fetish, and they hate themselves because of it. It's a huge cognitive dissonance that most women simultaneously have rape fantasies, but still want to be seen as strong, independent, and dominant when necessary.

I know why. It's because the US military is the government, and we all know how government likes to coddle women. And even better if marriage provides extra motivation for the saps who willingly sign their life away to an organization that sees them as nothing more than cannon fodder. Military attracts the bluest of blue pill men. They're gonna fight for their country, be rewarded for their honor and selflessness, and then come back to a loving wife and a child they can instill their values upon…

Agreed. You have to kill them with kindness. It won't get you any immediate sort of gratification, but perhaps later on the true aggressor will have an epiphany later on. "Wow, I was rude to a person that was trying to be nice to me, maybe I should examine my own behavior." Self-awareness is a rare commodity among people, so it may not happen. However, by telling her to go fuck herself, she will immediately feel justified that you're a bad person and never think about it again. Edit: And if I'm …

It's super disgusting. And people like those from PragerU call MGTOWs cynical, while he's up there advocating a bad, one-sided contract for the sole purpose of squeezing a little extra production out of the naive, ignorant masses of men who are unable to keep their base biological instincts from overriding their (supposedly) evolved, decision-making frontal lobes. The video would sort of make sense if the guy was a Rockefeller or some kind of similar billionaire mega-plantation owner, but he's j…

"You will never be happy as half a slave. Being a full slave is the only path to true happiness. Working 60 hours a week at a job you hate will make you twice as happy as working 30 hours a week at a job you hate. And that no-fault divorce will totally be your fault, for not working enough or for working too much."

I don't have any experience with military, so take this with a grain of salt. Joining the military seems to me the opposite of going your own way. You're signing over your entire life to those organizations, first and foremost. Secondly, the military exists to protect the people, culture and interests of a nation. You must ask yourself if those things are currently worth protecting. In my estimation, our military exists to serve the grand strategies of a very small set of corporate interests, an…

No one told women to accept a certain type of guy, while men are told that if they don't accept higher status women, or fat women, or slutty women, then they're pieces of misogynist shit. I think in reality, after getting in that situation, men would feel much more comfortable earning more than earning less.

Agreed with your first paragraph. Hannibal is the one who seemed scared to talk about it, but I've seen him on a few feminist comedy shows as a token, so he knows who butters his bread. Amy Schumer is garbage but if she has writers then its impossible to know for sure. But she agreed to sign on to a show and give up full creativity surrounding her name at the very least.

What's the scam? That they don't get paid minimum wage or living wage? In most places the minimum wage has no relationship to what's required to actually live. It's mostly just a political tool that's taken out and used every now and then.

In my father's case, he was the opposite. It's not like he's super tough or alpha (quite the contrary), but he would constantly berate and put down my step mom over stupid shit. Seeing how he treated his wife and seeing how she just took it gave me a headache, but she was loyal to him. Then, when my father got a lot of money from the inheritance, he didn't think he had to "settle" for her anymore, so he thought it was more wise to give her half a mil, and then he bought an island house in Florid…

My father is a dumb piece of shit who got rich after his rich asshole father died. My father has had multiple live-in girlfriends and was married twice, the second divorce was RIGHT AFTER getting his inheritance so he had to pay off my dumb ass former step mom. What little time I've hung out with him, I'm positive he's going to marry another woman and she'll get whatever he has left (which probably won't be much because my father never earned any of his wealth and is insanely irrational with it)…

Traditional marriage/relationships might return, but only due to some cataclysm resulting in mass death and/or technology reduction resulting in having to live a less domesticated/comfortable life. If technology continues to improve then we are headed toward a genderless society, at least in terms of roles and reproduction. Robots replace more muscles and brains every day, therefore, it's easier for women to replace men in the modern workplace, or at least drive down their wages. Once male birth…

I'd be willing to bet he impregnated the mom and left. My (single) mom taught me very similar things about being a gentleman and treating women right (though not nearly as extreme as the OP's story). My theory on this is that a single mother will project her conscious desires onto her son, thinking that if he treats women kindly, he will find a better woman than she was, because she let her carnal desires override her "I just want a nice guy" conscious desire and got burned because of it. I don't think we'll see a resurgence of traditionalism. These books are the last desperate gasps from boomer men desperately clinging on to their old delusions regarding relationships and marriage. But when will the slut shaming begin by these "4th" wave neo-Victorian feminists? It seems 3rd wave was very sex-positive, which created the surplus of vagina. I kind of think this is why young liberal males were cool with feminism. They thought it meant easier pussy, and maybe it did, until they became ex post facto rapists 3 days after a sexual encounter with a new, even more schizo 4th waver pretending to be a "chill, 'real' feminist."

I agree, but I think it's more invasive and insidious than that. The language that politicians and media use everyday is confusing, contradictory but usually "technically" true, and most people aren't smart enough or educated enough to recognize the duplicity and propaganda. Basically because, I believe, the average citizen no longer has any philosophical frame work to operate from. Previous centuries are irrelevant when the only history subjects taught in the public curriculum are feminism, civil rights and any other identity politic feel-fest. Also, I think a general lack of interest and credence given to philosophy is another reason for the problems we have today dealing with the lack of rational thinking, and the destruction of language (political correctness is the restriction of language).

That's probably tough. It's easy for me since the marriages I've encountered growing up (including my mom's first marriage to my father) have all been trainwrecks. My mom is also anti-feminist, and she can sorta see what's going on, but that still doesn't stop her from encouraging me to get married and have kids. Look at India and China, that has turned completely feminist in the last 10 years. It has nothing to do with trying to destabalize society. Why the last 10 years then? The populations of India and China has always freaked the West out geopolitically. Also, feminism HAS to be taught. It's being taught to the men just as much as the women though.

Everyone seems to say it's because men don't have an outlet to share their emotions. I think this is a very gynocentric solution to this problem, and probably won't help. Men, I think, should be and naturally are more stoic, less emotional, more rational, and thank god. The problem is not only can men not talk about their feelings with anyone who cares, it's that the culture no longer appreciates the default "masculine" which is that stoic, non-emotional person. Women should use sex as a weapon as it's really their most effective one when dealing with men. The problem is, they use it like a nerf gun now instead of an actual firearm. Shooting people with nerf guns is fun, but if you use your vagina like an AK-47, you can rob a bank. An individual woman might come out of the feminist malaise and decide being a slut isn't healthy nor the most effective way to get a man to do her bidding. I've honestly never saw being alone as a problem. It's the way I've always been (my mom said while I was a baby I didn't like being held, even by her, so there's gotta be some genetics going on). My problem has been trying to be social only to fulfill social expectations and it's exhausting. As I get older, I'm still enjoying my solitude, and try to be at least passingly social every day to my neighbor or friends or the supermarket cashier, whatever (bouncing your ideas off people is a good way …

My father isn't as successful as the dude in the vid, but I could see him doing something like this if he were able. My dad became rich through inheritance and decided that was the perfect time for a divorce. He is still hell bent on getting married. Boomer men are so fucked in the head in my experience--not all, but a much bigger percentage. They rebelled against their parents but still insist on the same marriage trap. Gross.

I agree. There are quite a few people who post here that don't seem to really grasp the concept entirely, or are holding on to a little too much hope cognitive dissonance. A thread was made and deleted yesterday with a guy complaining about his live-in (I think) girlfriend and he thought he had a "MGTOW" mentality. In my opinion, if you co-habitate or get married, you aren't going your own way. You can still stick your cock in girls and be on your own way, but that's about the extent of it I'd s…

A few people have well-stated the relationship between feminism and why we are here, and they're absolutely right. Feminism is a pox on mankind, or maybe it's just a natural response to overpopulation or culture. The point is, it doesn't matter. If you're constantly stuck in "red pill rage" phase, then life is only going to get worse since the awakening. That's why I "don't care." But I still do "care" insofar as I find sexual dynamics interesting, and I still maintain a morbid fascination with …

I pity the ho and I thumb my nose at dishonest or shady business people. I didn't mean to imply that's the only way to get sex of course. The meat markets are vast and numerous, especially in the digital age. I'd rather pay a fairly-priced hooker for an hour of her time than deal with dating, and game, and having to constantly tip toe around feelings and not having time to my dorky hobbies (edit: didn't even mention marriage, which is where, so I've heard, the sex stops)--so, yeah I don't do it. Marriage is a contract. What are contracts mainly used during the course of? Business. Marriage is a business. Marriages work when they make sense, and they don't when they don't. But, like you said, all women think it's a Disney movie, and when that initial lust, "love," infatuation, whatever wears off, she thinks something is wrong so she starts tearing down everything in a fit of rage. Feminism has created a sexual atmosphere which is dictated by the demands of men. If there ever was a "patriarchy," feminism has done nothing but strengthen it. It's delicious irony. Many men are completely controlled by their high sex drive, and in the past, the terms of sexual intimacy was controlled by women. Access to the vagina was the number one societal bargaining chip that women possessed, and it was an extremely powerful one. Feminism has given that away. The conspiratorial part of my b…

Animals? The environment? Yes, I know: men. But it wouldn't make sense if he included men because popular social justice, and the loud social justice warriors mainly "fight" for the groups he mentioned. Men, as a subject for social justice, as we all know, is years away (if ever) from being a popular subject in the gender equality discussion. But that wasn't the point of his mini-blog post about SJWs.

“Social justice” is an awkward term for an immensely important project, perhaps the most important project, which is to make the world a more equitable, fair, and compassionate place. But the project for social justice has been captured by an elite strata of post-collegiate, digitally-enabled children of privilege, who do not pursue that project as an end, but rather use it as a means with which to compete, socially and professionally, with each other. In that use, they value not speech or actio…

Actually it would be a fact. Also, civil rights groups are always pushing for hate crime legislation and extra punishment when a white person assaults a black person, but for the sake of equality, shouldn't it should go the other way as well? Signed. The fact that a woman can use your sperm without consent, or lie about using birth control, then force you, under threat of imprisonment, to fork over the fruits of your labor for 18 years is mind boggling in a so called "free society." It's extortion at best and slavery at worst. And the fact that the vast majority of "feminists" are silent about this issue is more than enough proof to convince anyone with half a brain that they are not concerned with equality.

Global Marxism is a prime example of a global conspiracy, and is the pure essence of population control (not to mention the millions of people who have been killed out-right by Communist regimes). I agree that it's what feminism is really about, but you can't say it's not a conspiracy involving a relatively few people to unjustly acquire power for themselves.

I have a theory that feminism was pushed in the West for this exact reason. Feminist groups and thinkfeel-tanks get lots of funding from large, social-engineering ("philanthropic") foundations (such as the Rockefeller Foundation) and they have talked and worried about over-population for decades. You can trace all this back to Planned Parenthood and the eugenics movements of the early 20th century. They've succeeded too if you look at the demographic and birth-rate shifts over this time period.

I don't think 17 is a "rapeable" age. Maybe it is, but I moved to college when I was 17, so I consider that age as an adult (it varies by personal maturity levels, but you can't really legislate based on maturity level). With that said, I think the real underlying issue here is why a 30 year old woman would even desire a 17 year old male. The Times interviews Amber Strader, a 27 year-old single mom, whose "boyfriend was so dependent that she had to buy his cigarettes. Marrying him never entered her mind. ‘It was like living with another kid,' she said." Then why was she with him? Hey, if a single mom can't find a suitable partner, then that's her problem. Her body, her choice. As a man who could provide and doesn't want to, I've made my choice because hey, my body. She had a child without a man's willing support, and thus, made h…

As a man pretty much going my own way, I sit back and laugh at these articles. Hell yeah I'm a "commitment-phobe" when feminism has turned marriage (and even non-commited cohabitation) into something men should be afraid of. But I will say that if you are with a woman, and you know she wants to get married and you don't, then just let her go out of respect.
/r/MensRights21/10/12 04:46 PM

Men don't have choices if they choose to enter into a marriage contract with a woman. I've chosen not to get married though. I think the MRM isn't and shouldn't go the route of "reverse victim mentality" :P

I don't think you can expect much "hard" evidence in these issues. Sure, you can present statistics on divorce, or laws that disproportionately harm men, but exploring the psychological, societal and cultural reasons will always be anecdotal in nature. Your friends or family might not get it due to biases, ingrained ideas, propaganda, etc, but who cares? I'll gladly share these articles such as these, and if anyone disagrees, I'll be glad to calmly discuss it.

If there was a good looking, muscular man being the attraction and a nerdy girl being the technician, would it be believable? I'm not offended by this at all, but it just perpetuates the same tired gender roles. I think Godaddy is a gross company for multiple reasons, so I just don't do business with them and leave it at that.

I don't think white knights = beta males. I'm sure there are a lot of "betas" who happen to be white knights, but I consider myself a beta while not white-knighting. Ugh, actually, this whole alpha/beta shit is sexist in and of itself, and the whole idea should be trashed.

I'm fully aware of American history and communism. But, if you are against communism and don't like its collectivist mentality, then it's not an ad hominem. Communism can't be proven right or wrong of course, it's just a philosophy and some people have good reasons for not liking it. It's like, if someone was hating on Jews and blacks and loves Adolf Hitler, I'd call that person a Nazi, and it wouldn't be an ad hominem. It'd be true.
/r/MensRights30/09/12 06:28 PM

Um, communist isn't an ad hominem and they still exist.
/r/MensRights30/09/12 04:57 PM

Yeah, I can definitely see that. But, there does exist a body of literature, beginning in the 60s that addresses population concerns. Is it coincidence that these social movements also came from that time, which we see are resulting in the wishes laid out by certain powerful people and groups? It definitely could be coincidence or an unconscious mechanism of society as a whole, but it could also be a real conspiracy.
/r/MensRights29/09/12 06:09 PM

My personal conspiracy theory is that the feminism wave we're seeing now was and still is a method of population control. The people at the top who have to divy out all the available resources see population trends that worry them (there's plenty of academic papers on over-population). Look at what feminism has accomplished: cheap birth control, greater control from the state via family courts, and blowback in the form of MGTOW. All things which will result in less children.

What about it? They cite medical benefits in Africa, which aren't relevant to the USA. Also, they "stop short" of recommending routine circumcision. I'd wager that these medical groups will never come out totally against circumcision because it'd eat into their wallets.

Because people care more about tradition and appearances than admitting they were wrong/immoral/cruel and have been mutilated or have mutilated others against their will. We keep doing it because we can't bear to recognize our collective insanity regarding the practice. I'm circumcised, but I'd never force that upon my son without his consent. I'd never do it, because as an adult, I'll never be able to know my natural state. And sure, it seems like "no big deal", but that's why I share videos li…

I made this argument while talking to women at a slut walk I attended. A few women got it and agreed with me. But ultimately, they were all enjoying the camaraderie and group think more than they were considering the overall implications of the movement they were supposedly supporting. There's a whole demographic of shallow women who support these feminist causes only because it makes them feel like they are being strong and political, when during the week they couldn't care less about the real …

One could argue that any murder is the result of a mental disorder since most people instinctively understand killing someone else is bad. What about a man who murders his boss after getting fired from his job due to depression stemming from his inability to provide for his family? Should we just let those men go? Of course not. And on a semi-related note, medical "ethicists" have recently published a paper (or papers?) saying killing a baby within the first three months (or was it years?) of li…

Your comment made me wonder about the attractiveness of the girls used in the proposition study. Were they all attractive? What if you got an obese girl to walk around propositioning strings-free, casual sex. Would the results be different? I'd say, probably.

I've been on a slutwalk before and actually tried explaining to the women I was with about how the whole thing was pretty counter-productive in the realms of equality and respect. A couple of women agreed with me that a better name could be used, but the vast majority was just excited to dress slutty in a slut parade. I wore a shirt that said "I like girls who like girls" and thought I might get berated by real feminists, but lesbians flocked to me and the people there liked it. It was a weird d…

She's invested in the mindset that pussy = power over men. As a feminist, she laments this as she wants to be seen as more than pussy because of "historical oppression and objectification." But feminists aren't concerned with justice and equality as we know, they're only interested in power. So, instead of whining that "men just want us for sex," she went along with it, but only if in her mind she could change it from the victim position to a power position. But as soon as a man denied her vagin…

No I can't comment on the credibility. It is interesting and it does seem to describe what is going on today. However, the question I can't answer is whether the document is proof of a manipulative conspiracy to bring upon the actions described, or if it was written by someone identifying trends he/she/they saw in society without a conscious "conspiracy" behind it. I think people should read such things with an open and critical mind.

I actually agree with most things you said. I wish people respected each other, and I wish I could just pay 100 bucks every now and then to visit an escort because I want sex, but don't care for a relationship right now. However, the world doesn't always work the way we want it to. When I figured out, after a few years of really trying, that my honesty wasn't working in my favor, I decided to never mention my virginity and to reveal few of my shortcomings. A few short months later, I was finally…

I can tell you this is true. I am 26 and was a virgin until a few months ago. I decided to change that, so I just lowered my standards and started casting the net on okcupid. Dated a nice girl for 3 months, got the V monkey off my back, and got out of it when I was no longer feeling it. However, she was a very large girl in a terrible financial situation, whereas I'm a decently attractive guy in a good financial situation. Go look at all the United Nations and global governance memes regarding over-population. This is not surprising at all. This crap was even tried here in the US back in the 20's. There are old propaganda films with actors talking to women about how they were to be forcefully sterilized due to mental illness in the family. The young woman was obviously upset, but ultimately compliant. This IS a men's rights issue because you could look at the battle of the sexes as a way to get men and women to NO…

Whether or not the school has a law program is irrelevant. This was most likely the work of the Communications or English department which runs the newspaper (meaning kids in those programs write and run the paper under guidance of English Comm. based on my college experience, no idea about UNC in particular). Knowing that the liberal arts/identity politics crowd is fully invested into patriarchy theory and woman victimhood, such an article shouldn't come as a surprise.

I've talked to women who recognize that men aren't the way they are portrayed on TV, nor should be. But I'm not sure if these women I've talked to see it as necessarily destructive or bad. Conservative or traditional women definitely see it as harmful. I've seen church sermon flyers around my area about the negative portrayal of men in pop culture (or at least family based sitcoms), but they take the side of Biblical gender roles, and due to that, unjustly expect certain behavior of men and wome…

I've been visiting this subreddit for just a few months, mainly out of my interest for individuality, not so much my concern for gender issues. Well, this thread just scared the shit out of me. Thanks guys. What a criminal-run world we live in if debt contracts can enslave college students with $100k+ debt with no options for recourse, but a contract regarding wealth distribution in a marriage can be overturned by the whim of a judge. It's almost as if the powers that be consciously want to destroy the societal foundations of this country. Outrageous.

No I agree. Rough sex is fine and dandy, and rape is not, and rough sex doesn't equal to rape. But a lot of rough sex is, I think, a simulation of rape. Consensual choking, slapping, spitting, etc is totally fine, but those activities have to do (in my opinion and experience) with pleasure from power (similar to rape) and not so much physical pleasure or romance. But my question is how do feminists reconcile the desire to be treated as equals (yes I know equality isn't the goal with many extreme…

What do you propose then? Are you saying he should have posed a falsifiable question, developed a data collection method/survey, purchased a random sample of women in the US, then get on the phone and ask 1000 women questions about rough sex and rape fantasies? Most women I've discussed sex with will admit they have a rape fantasy (once you ask enough detailed questions regarding their love for "rough sex" will the woman finally admit that it's actually a rape fantasy). Even more so when they find out that I am circumcised--so naturally I'd be for it right, so I can fulfill some weird satisfaction of knowing my son's penis is mutilated "like mine".
