While I agree that he needs to work on himself, he shouldn’t completely abandon dating. It’s a process and you don’t need to be a perfect person to date.

She disrespected you for 9 years. How are you going to live with that if you stay in the same house.

Don't girls like "bad guys"? Shouldn't it be an advantage here?

How can you have no expectations? If she rejects, how are you going to continue the date and be nonchalant? On the other hand, if she rejects then it means she is not interested and you can just finish the date and leave. How do you handle the rejection?

What do you mean by being in touch with your sexuality? I assume he needs to give off some sexual energy. But being in touch with himself? How?

Thanks! That's a very elaborate answer. I am always striving to improve socially and mentally. I'm trying new sports, try to widen my social circle and build relationships. But it is very challenging. I am an immigrant and don't speak the local language.

Actually you can understand this from their behaviour. So try to gain some experience with the girls. Have some short and long term relationships. Try to observe how they act when the are dating someone they find attractive.

Could you give an example of emotional goal? Being better at communicating or something like that?

keep challenging yourself even on the days it feels completely pointless I think that is really important. You might not realise it at the time but the impact of your work accumulates and starts to be visible after some time. So go to the gym, work on yourself, try to identify your feelings, mourning of your relationship etc. There won't be a sudden shift but you will get better!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
