Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionWow. Honestly, I think confident people aren't afraid of being "played by clowns" because they don't need to wait until the check comes to see a clown coming. Also that sounds like you're playing with scared money. You're not going to risk being vulnerable in order to form a real connection because someone might try to play you? You're gonna let them put you in that position? That sounds crazy to me. Making yourself vulnerable and putting your genuine self out there is powerful and strong not fo… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 04:25 PM
Quit Texting HimWhy though? Like, if you ARE eager why try to appear to be something you're not? If he doesn't like you for who you are then... he doesn't like you, right? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:33 PM
| -3 | Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionBut aren't men also giving us their hearts and bodies? I mean, they're also putting themselves out there. And they are also fun, sexy, smart, handsome, good company, etc. right? I just have trouble seeing it as so black and white woman=prize man=prizewinner. It's just kinda weird to put myself in a box like that. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:32 PM |
Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionSurely this can't be true. I mean, in same-sex relationships there's a ton of bill-splitting and it doesn't reduce anyone's respect for each other, how can it be so different here? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:30 PM
Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionDefinitely! There are so many parts of dating and so many moving parts. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:27 PM
Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionI didn't realize coming in to this that it was already an established community of people who are all encountering the same thing. I thought it was like r/TheGirlSurvivalGuide where it's just women who all share/ask questions. There are all kinds of dating strategies, it just seemed weird to me that everyone was talking about the same few things/had the same mindset. But if that's the whole point then I get it. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:26 PM
Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionWhat if I have a chance at a really amazing physical and emotional connection with someone, a person who I have amazing chemistry with, who would make an amazing partner and could potentially make a really happy life with me but I didn't go out with him because he was broke? Or if he was so nervous on the first date that he made every mistake in the book but it was just one time. But I walked away because I decided he was low effort? Isn't that a terrible risk to take? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:23 PM
| -1 | Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionThank you for this comment. I can appreciate that there are people out there that are trying to make others believe they're something that they're not. It's heartbreaking that so many women (and men of course) are participating in dating in the style of war. That every encounter is a battle to be won or lost and that we can't just trust each other to be ourselves. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 31/10/19 02:20 PM |
Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionI guess I didn't read it thoroughly enough. I'm not trying to be combative. I'm just asking questions. I didn't know FDS was like a thing, I just thought I was talking about strategies for dating and I am curious about fellow women's opinions about the part of dating that is forming deep, meaningful connections with people. I don't really think that a connection is easy enough to form. I think that holds a lot of people up and I think a lot of people could use help on figuring out how to do that… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/10/19 09:42 PM
Genuine Emotional and Physical ConnectionI'm not challenging anything I'm just trying to understand. I didn't know that it was a core principal so I just learned that fact. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/10/19 09:35 PM
Quit Texting HimIf you have a genuine connection and enjoy speaking to each other then isn't ignoring texts like abandoning that? Like if you have interesting stuff to say to each other and you're both engaged in the conversation then why not embrace that? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 30/10/19 09:31 PM
this totally is not the onionPeople are being dicks about this but in case you really mean this you should know that plan B only works within 72 hours after intercourse. You wouldn't test positive until 10 to 14 days after impregnation. So that's incorrect. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 23/10/19 07:51 PM
