IMO there’s only two reasons she would say “I’ll let you know” but still want to keep texting you/want you to text her. She may want to hangout with you, but she wants to get to know you more over text before going on a date. This could be to make sure you’re worth her time, to make sure you’re not a creep, or just to make sure she actually likes you. Or… She wants the validation of having you text her, but she doesn’t plan on actually hanging out with you. She likes knowing you like her, and pr…

That’s a pretty good opener in your example there, but you kind of lost it in the second text by adding in too much in my opinion. It feels like you’re forcing too many things to make sure the conversation continues. Instead, it’s good to continue the joke for one more text, and then move on with the conversation. Try to avoid classic what’s up/where do you work/what are you studying questions as we’ve had these conversions too many times. Ask about something in one of their photos, or their pro…

Honestly, dating apps. I find a lot of them are pretty good for hooking up. To help facilitate more than a one night stand, talk to the person and get to know them a bit. Maybe try going for a drink or something and then back to someone’s place, as opposed to just “Netflix and chill.”

I agree with the first two! But not the last. Some women may like it a little rougher but start out slow and gentle, and then you can go a little faster. One of the biggest tips I have for inexperienced guys is to take your time (but not too much time). Enjoy making out and slowly taking off clothes and touching everywhere. Obviously don’t make out forever, because this can lead to a bit of frustration on both ends, but don’t be so quick to rip all the clothes off and shove your fingers somewher…

Ya I do think the relationship itself could work! You would just have to be prepared for a case where it ends, and you will either have to continue to work together when you might be hurt/mad, or one of you will have to quit. It’s up to you whether that’s worth it or not. Also, happy cake day!

HR never knew (pretty big workplace), but coworkers talked, which was probably worse for me than it was for him. In all honesty, it was really fun working with the person I was dating! But just be prepared that if things end (badly, or even on good terms) it’s going to suck to have to see them everyday.

If you care about the job, don’t try and date a coworker. I know it sucks but it’s just too risky. I’ve dated two of my coworkers before, and one of them didn’t return to work when we broke up, and the other time we both quit. Post-breakup all I could think about was thank god we’re not working together anymore.

Both of these are totally right. If a girl is using them casually she often won’t reply when she gets bored. If she’s using them frequently, she probably has too many matches to keep up with your conversation unless you’re talking about something fun and interesting.

Nice guys are great, guys who fuck are sometimes great. A nice guy who also fucks? The dream.

If you're happy casually dating, definitely go on the date! You can just reply and say that's cool and that you're fine with keeping things casual. You'll have to communicate more to get a better idea of what "casual" means to her, and decide what you're okay with. But for now, just treat it like a regular date, but keep in mind that she's not looking to create a committed partnership.

It can be hard to tell what people you've met on dating apps are thinking! I can only speculate, but it sounds like she herself might be unsure on whether or not she wants to go out with you. Some women (myself included) don't like to be asked out right away, and instead like to chat for a while to get to know the person. So if the asking out comes too soon, it can make things a little awkward. I think you responded really well to that though! Leaving a number so she can reach out is a great ide…

I’m glad it could help! It’s so hard getting comfortable pursuing new people after a relationship. I’m glad to hear you’re doing better! I hope everything continues to go well for you!

It’s not weird to ask someone out over social media! This happened a lot in my high school. Just send one quick a respectful message, and see if you get an answer!

I agree with what you say about leaving mystery! That’s an important part! Imagination is a powerful thing. Always good to leave stuff to be desired.

Absolutely can be hard to juggle. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but once you do it’s a pretty solid foundation to rely on, imo. You don’t have to consistently do this if you’re busy! Just here and there to start to get some practice.

I also just got out of a long relationship, so I feel you! Been nervous on the few dates I’ve been on, and my flirting is definitely rusty! Best of luck getting back out there.

Regardless, nice to get a woman’s perspective in this sub a little. At least I think so. You’d think most men would want to hear some feedback from the gender most of them are hitting on, and yet!

Honestly, this “weirdo vibes” excuse she’s using is just that, an excuse. It may or may not be true, but the point is she used it as a final way to reject you because you didn’t get the hint before.

When you say you contact each other every day in real life do you mean talking in person? Texting? Phone calls? Whichever it is, use this time wisely to start conversations that will help you learn more about her likes and dislikes. This could include what she got up to over the weekend, what some of her hobbies are (you could always say you're looking for a new hobby if you feel weird just asking this), or if she has any recommendations of things to get up to in your area. Once you have this ju…
