Only time can tell. You must be persistent in finding out all the facets of another person - after you have seen them in different circumstances, see her challenged in ways, see her excel - only then can you consider the idea that you might know who she is. You're definitely falling for an image right now. It's fun and all, thinking someone is hot shit, but getting too deep is a recipe for disappointment. Be reasonable!

I haven't had any post-secondary romances, but in highschool, it was kind of fun when boys pulled you outside of the door after class. Catch her at a time when no one is watching (ie, not in the middle of class) - that'll spark the "I chose you" head game for her, which as I said, is fun so long as you pull it off smoothly :)

When talking with women of different racial/ethnic backgrounds, understand, as I'm sure most adults do, that there is often subconscious hesitancy in considering partners who look/feel different from us. Connect to her human side, or work to find commonalities almost exclusively in early interactions with women of other races from yourself. Hopefully that'll open up doors, and that differences can be explored from a foundation of similarity later on...

This article was shallow and not wholly optimistic. "People love talking about themselves" - I read a lot of pessimism in this post. Wonder why.

This cause and effect idea won't get you far with things.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
