I agree that the author doesn't discuss that men are more likely to gain in sexual value as they age whereas women are less likely. Another thing she doesn't discuss is the fact that finding a long-term partner as a 40-something man or woman is a different game entirely. In contrast to 20-somethings who are still developing who they are and what they want to become, 40-somethings have already developed a certainty on these matters. It's one thing to fall in love in your 20's and "grow together" …
