This post is obviously good-intentioned however seemingly women on their prime (young and attractive) are overwhelmingly more drawn to "bad boys" which creates this whole situation where women keep on dating "bad boys" until they mature enough emotionally (or hit the wall and stockpile on trauma in other terms) and suddenly they want to settle for the "good guys" Personally, I think that most "good guys" can or will get into relationships at some point but deep down they know they do not enjoy a…

Yes that would be nice but "love" on its own the way you describe it is no guarantee whatsoever. From previous personal experiences I had two very loving and warm relationships that eventually failed because of difference in values. So yeah, love has to be there in a relationship because it acts as a glue keeping everything together but it can't be enough on its own and that's why people don't talk about it too much here because it has some sort of mysticism to it. What love is to you is not nec…

Sure, I personally do not go around labeling people as this or that. Sticking them into rigid boxes. My point is OP made such a huge judgment that is not based on anything objective while simultaneously engaging in shaming tactics about men who do not want promiscuous women. That's just wrong on so many levels and needed to be countered.

Wrong

It is a deal breaker to lots of men and that should be understood and accepted, instead of being judged for it

Sorry to disappoint you, you're certainly better than all of us

I'm not making any claim if you notice. Yes some men have issues and some men are bitter or whatever. But also some men have standards when selecting for long-term relationships and to say that insecurities are the only reason behind men wanting women with lower body count is an insanely wild claim to make and I have to check you on it before you try to make it look like an unquestionable fact. To answer your point, there's plenty of studies that suggest someone's sexual history correlates with …

I'm not making general statements, am I?

In this case I don't think it is wise to make blanket statements. You do not seem to have any statistical data to back up your views.

So zero correlation between sexual history and values?

If a women is promiscuous isn't that a direct indicator of her values tho?

A classic case of "how dare men have standards"

Less horny = higher dating standards and that by proxy means more attention payed to bettering ones life rather than pleasing others. Extrapolate from that whatever you want.

It's commonly believed that the end of the modern era coincides with the end of world war II

Hilarious rant but the great philosopher inside of me -above all- insists on correcting that fascism was not an invention of the post modern but rather a major contributor into creating the situation from which postmodernism rose

It depends on the attachment style, an avoidant woman would love bomb and enjoy the attention you give her until the deactivation starts.

Ofc wouldn't expect a lesbian to understand basic heterosexual dynamics

English is not my first language and even I can tell the deference between "need" and "expectation" It's true that in 2023 most women won't need a man to provide for them because they can have degrees and work so that technically should levitate the traditional role of providing In 2023 we have police to enforce the law and protect people male or female, a judicial system that is supposed to punish those who do not abide by the law and an army to protect the borders from any intruders so that th…

It's due to the fact that the average man can probably do lots of damage to the average woman on a physical level. The ladies are right being cautious better than sorry for that matter.

Since the dawn of ages males have been compelled by their sexual imperatives to compete for females, not only for the human species but for pretty much all mammals. It has evolutionary roots and I don't think that the tables are going to be turned any time soon. Modern life made it possible for women to act more bluntly on their hypergamous tendencies tho and probably that's what devalues at least 2/3 of the male population. The bottom 1/3 being completely transparent at this point. One thing to…

A guy here, all I'm gonna say he's 34. You're 22 and still you somehow come cross as more mature and thoughtful? Guy gives avoidant attachment vibes from what I'm reading. Maybe he's actively trying to change for the better and maybe he's got a lot of things to offer in a relationship but I gotta say that sticking with someone with baggage is definitely not in anyone's best interest. You gotta also take into consideration that if you give him another chance and the whole situation would reproduc…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
