It always depended on how I was approached. In public is fine if the guy is low-key and not intense. Like just chit-chatting is awesome, then leaving his number or getting mine (I preferred leaving his number). If he came on too strong I was outta there fast. I hate love bombing, it’s a huge red flag. Here’s a story from before the www existed :) I was studying computer science and working at a PC store in 1993, where I built clones and repaired them. We had a long bench where people could hang …

Yeah it would have been better to ask her for her social media first; now she may think that you are stalking her online which can be pretty creepy from her perspective. You’ve been thinking about her for a long time but the opposite doesn’t seem to be the case so you need to give her some time to think about you and not feel threatened! You do that by having multiple positive interactions with her, in person ideally. Try to engage with her again when you next see her and observe how she respond…

If she’s insisting then Lie. No one needs to know the truth, that’s your own personal past and as long as you can prove to your current love interest that you’re disease-free then you don’t need to tell anyone. I should have worded that better, sorry - the parents send the message that the child is unworthy of love. The child internalizes this message, grows up and then seeks out partners who provide a perpetuation of the pattern of abuse they were subjected to growing up. This is what happened to me. Once I figured this out I was able to do the work to reverse it. I’m not saying it’s my fault that a man did something wrong, I’m saying that I was attracted to low quality men due to my childhood conditi…

If you were conditioned as a child to pick losers because you weren’t good/lovable enough then you’ll be naturally attracted to abusive undesirable men even though you’re a good person yourself. Happened to me and I worked extremely hard to break the pattern after my divorce from an abusive narc. I avoided getting into relationships until I felt confident the person was of high quality. This meant I was single for 12 years but I eventually remarried an amazing man. The problem is that the women …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
