So true, the way you carry yourself and your confidence/happiness makes you more attractive! Not just to men but in general as a person too

They're so entitled. He really believes him getting sex asap matters more than her health and safety.

Almost 30 here, getting more male attention than ever. I will add that we do live in a pedo culture and that's a problem. Teen is the most popular porn category...because the vast majority of men are evil.

Manipulation, love bombing etc, women with existing issues such as low self worth, trauma, raised around abuse or just generally from living in a patriarchy being taught to put up with this from birth.

It's been proven that we (women) live longer, happier lives without marrying yet the idea that a relationship will bring happiness is still promoted so aggressively!!!

I'm rude as fuck these days *when safe to do so* and it feels healthy and good, I love when other women and teenage girls see it too!!

Men have been shaming womens bodies for a long time, women have never and will never shame male bodies as much or with as much hatred as men do... 9 year old girls are requesting labiaplasty surgery!!!

What are some quick dates? My time is really precious and I don't want to go to restaurants or do activities I won't enjoy & wouldn't otherwise be doing, during my free time I want to drink, party and relax. I see that drinks dates aren't recommended but I feel like I could tell if I want to see the man again by the way he behaves, paying for the drinks, paying for my taxi etc plus how he reacts to me getting male attention. The most expensive meal in a restaurant round here (i'm not willing to …

Just wanna add for anyone who is or has been abused by a narcissist, they're the narcissist, not you. It's so common for the victim of a narcissist to believe they're the narcissist themselves and it's not true, the abuser has made you feel this way and it isn't true. Youre not selfish or narcissistic or a bad person and there IS hope for a better life away from the narcissist. It's NOT your fault and you are not choosing for them to abuse you. I've done a course with Womens Aid (abuse organisat…

I'm using her as an example of why NOT all women have the option to leave and aren't all choosing the situation etc. Abuse victims have complex reasons for not leaving

Yes, moving on and reclaiming power, not saying abuse victims all stay simply because they're pickmeishas and could just leave etc

I am a survivor, I did not mention my abuse in the argument whatsoever

The part that says 'being abused by a narcissist'

My mother for example wasn't allowed to be with all of her children at the same time so couldn't leave and would be beaten, cut, tortured and raped if caught doing anything that implied she could leave, this is COMMON

Women are literally being murdered by men every day btw

I didn't mention being abused...?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/02/20 05:57 PM

Absolutely, and it needs to be taught from childhood. But IN an abusive relationship, the victim very often cannot protect themselves and does not have the same agency as a woman who isn't being abused.

Do some research on abuse, seriously. In ABUSE situations, the victim does not stay because she's a pickmeisha, they often CANNOT leave in some cases and if they can, there are many complex reasons they may stay including trauma bonding, c-ptsd, manipulation such as the abuser saying they'll kill themselves etc etc. There are abuse victims who DESPISE their abuser and can see the abuse for what it is but can't or feel they can't leave

Abuse victims often don't have agency, control or strength over their lives... this is something the abuser can take from them as part of the abuse. I just don't think this should have been directed at abuse victims but rather women in relationships with LVM in general
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/02/20 05:37 PM

Sure but OP references someone being abused by a narcissist, abuse victims don't stay because they're pickmeishas or narcissists, it's far more complex than that. Sometimes abuse victims literally can't leave...

" I'M the one being used, abused, and fucked with by an evil narcissistic LVM " You're saying someone being abused by a narcissist is a narcissist themselves. No, they're not, they're co-dependent, traumatised, they may believe they're sub-human

It is blaming the victim, victims don't stay with abusers because they're just narcissists, it can be due to trauma, trauma bonding, low self worth, being broken down, manipulation, having nowhere to go, the effects of the abuse making the victim totally dependent on the abuser, fearing for their safety or their families safety and many more reasons

Please research abuse, trauma bonding, PTSD and C-PTSD, the reasons women stay (they often have NO choice) etc and stop spreading harmful shit. Victims deal with enough shame and feeling like they need to be more and more selfless especially as the abuser often keeps telling the victim is. The aim when helping a victim is to be the opposite of the abuser, NOT TO TAKE HIS SIDE. I am honestly so disgusted by this. IT IS COMMON FOR THE VICTIM OF A NARCISSIST ABUSER TO FEEL LIKE THEY'RE THE NARCISSI…

You're saying ABUSE VICTIMS are the real narcissists? Sorry but no, absolutely disgusting. This is honestly harmful, the abuser often uses that tactic.

I was talking about sharing the ethical stance of veganism, wanting a partner who shares your lifestyle and ethical stance isn't asking for too much, especially if you're passionate about it. It's not like saying you won't date someone who eats carbs, it's something that not everyone is comfortable with. I personally am attracted to men who are passionate about animal rights and wouldn't want to kiss a man if he had been eating animal products, personal preferences aren't wrong for a woman to ha…

Having sex with someone who is only doing it to survive is violence. Being against men buying women isn't violence.

The thread was supposed to be about her personal dating standards and people are just trying to say she's wrong and debate veganism with her... Exactly like some patronising man would do. EXTREMELY disrespectful to be honest, she's 22 and should be encouraged to have standards, not settle and to be true to herself... instead she's being encouraged not to.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/02/20 03:18 AM

How can you disagree with someones personal standards for who they date...? There's nothing wrong with a woman wanting to date someone with the same ethical stance and who has a compatible lifestyle without conflicting views on something so fundamental.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/02/20 03:15 AM

There's A LOT of 'standard shaming' in this thread. OP don't settle and don't spend time and energy on a man who doesn't meet your standards. I also wouldn't date a non-vegan, I am not comfortable with it and nobody should imply you should make allowances you're not comfortable with! Ethical views and choices are a big part of some peoples lives, nothing wrong with wanting a partner who's compatible...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
