Stop it. I'm 5'8" and average looking at best but when I was in shape I dated and slept with women much taller than me. I was with a girl who was 6'3 and I never even questioned my ability to make it happen because I was putting out good vibes and just being the best version of myself. You guys need to stop it with this shit.

Shit like this bums me out because I ended up getting fat throughout college so all my opportunities dried up as I gained weight. I'm the fattest I've ever been and I'm graduating next year. Follow OP's advice and also don't make the same mistake I did!

I'm 5'7" and dated a girl who was 6'3". It was fun, especially the looks we'd get from people in public. I have had no problem dating women who were taller. Most of the women I date are the same height as me or slightly taller.

No, you won't. Don Draper is a broken human being living a lie who attracts broken women towards him while hurting others in his life in the process. You could possibly admire the character's work ethic, creativity and business sense (though that's not perfect either) but Don is a man with something missing in his life trying desperately to fill it with his extramarital relationships. He does say and do some smooth and rad shit but it works because he and the women he pursues are television char…

I'll say from my experience that for a beginner lifting is easier to start doing than running. I know I feel good after a good weight training session while running makes me feel like garbage. I've been really fat for a really long time so my knees are in horrible condition and running isn't a good idea right now.

It doesn't matter to the right girls. I'm 5'7 and dated a girl who was 6'3 and the girl after her was 5'10. If you're cool, girls don't really care.

It's really not a big deal if you don't worry about it. I'm 5'7" and have dated much taller women. The tallest chick I dated was 6'3". Some women are actually self-conscious about their height and find it refreshing when a dude doesn't make a big deal of it.

The most common thing I see when people say they like the show is that they watch it with their kids, or niece, or nephew or younger sibling and find out it isn't a bad show at all. Children's programming that is tolerable for adults is rare these days. Other than that example, I don't understand why else anyone would watch it.

You seem to have some problem with being asian; newsflash! You're asian for life so like it or leave... Can someone tell me where this Asian self-loathing comes from? Do you think of yourself as cool to be around? People saying you are very cool while drunk are also saying something about when you are not drunk. Maybe you could try being cool while sober. I've thought about this a lot over the past few months and it's giving me a sort of identity crisis. I've never actually been "cool" so I don't know how this works. Exactly! I've seen some downright creepy looking guys with great looking women. My old attitude would have been "oh, he's got money" or something like that. Now I say to myself "If he can do it, so can I. Why not me?" and it's improved my life dramatically.

Mark was saying that the fat nerd stays home all day AND has a negative attitude towards women. He wasn't saying the hobbies were holding him back. There are plenty of cute girls who are into gaming, or Star Wars, or any traditionally "nerdy" interest you can think of, but you don't meet them sitting at home all day feeling sorry for yourself.

A good median is someone who stands up for himself while respecting the dignity of other people. You want to show that you aren't some pansy, but at the same time don't go out of your way to make others feel bad. This is it. Don't be afraid to express how you feel in a reasonable manner. You can't be afraid to step on people's toes because no matter what, someone will always think you're an asshole, and that's okay. It just means you express yourself enough to be heard.

You have to look at those thoughts for what they really are: irrational. I get bombarded constantly with negative thoughts from within myself and I use simple logic to get rid of them. Write down some of these negative thoughts and scenarios and read them out loud to yourself and you'll see how they don't make up much sense. See yourself fucking up constantly? Just think of it this way: why am I seeing myself fuck up? Have I even tried anything yet? No? Then there's no reason to worry about it. …

I think I was probably in denial. I was like "Heh, that isn't me at all!" when in fact it totally was. The only thing that did turn me off to No More Mr. Nice Guy on my first read was when he said nice guys try to be the opposite of their fathers and resent them or something to that effect. I greatly admire my father and think he was a great man and I wish I could have turned out MORE like him.

I really think she likes you and is waiting for you to become a man. She actually told me I had a very good shot with her until the first time we hung out outside of school and she got the horrible, needy vibes off of me. I actually need to drop weight, if anything. I was a wrestler in high school and still have a huge chest, thighs, and nice calves from it, but I've gained a lot of weight over the years. Most guys are so desperate to hook up with girls that they render themselves incomplete, like a pie chart with a slice missing. They then go into interactions looking for that girl to fill it – and only then will they feel complete again. (temporarily) This is my entire dating life in a nutshell. I feel like being single for as long as I have (6 years) is like living as a failure (I know this is wrong). Whenever family members I see at events or dinners or whatever ask me "any girlfriends?" I'm with you. I don't understand people who come here to bitch and moan about their shortcomings and lack of success. I was listening to Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew's podcast earlier today and Adam said that the best kind of hobbies you can get into are the ones that involve YOU. Cooking makes you a better cook, playing music makes you a better musician, etc. Playing video games, collecting comics, and watching anime or something like that can certainly be enriching in their own ways, but do they make you a better person or teach you a valuable skill? Not really. I hope I am making sense.

As long as there isn't a tumor hanging off your head or something, women don't really care. I mean, they do, but they aren't focused on your face as much as you think. They go more off of your vibe. I've seen hot women with really creepy looking dudes as well as dudes whose faces have been ravaged by acne. You just have to realize that your face is something you can't really change and that if it is that bad, just ignore it.

Grooming and fashion is HUGE, guys. You can go from a 5 to an 8 just by being clean and dressing nicely. If your face isn't all that great, women won't really care (some will reject you no matter what, but fuck them) as long as you make a strong presentation and put some effort into how you look. Fashion is worth looking into because it's one of those things that can instantly help improve your success with women as opposed to fixing inner game issues and dealing with low self-confidence.
