It's benjaminseda, he doesn't have this bio anymore and without an FDS lense his profile might not seem "that bad" at first glance BUT: he's the guy behind "based zeus" a Youtube channel that markets itself as a some form of a more "wholesome" guide for male self-improvement especially when it comes to dating... but it's basically not so different from the usual PUA stuff (but probably not obvious enough for a pick-me to notice...?) Also when taking a deeper look into his content the red flags a…

Saaame! After one of my exes told me how much he was into stoicism and how I should give it a try, maybe I'll stop being so "over-emotional", I run when a guy tells me he's a stoic 🚩🚩🚩 Oh and I later found out my ex actually got the idea from some PUA dude (who called himself a "stoic fuckboy" in his insta bio 🤮 ) because some of them and lots of the "hustle culture-finance bro-capitalism is my kink" crowd seem to be into "stoicism"... or at least whatever fucked-up version they interpreted it t…

Yep, his third edit especially! That showed pretty well what his actual problem with women is...

Yep... and then they come at you with the "well you're never gonna find a men like that" and I love seeing how their brain basically implodes when you tell them "I'd rather be forever single then" or in my case "That's okay, there's still a lot of women I can date" 😂

EXACTLY! If he doesn't fit my standards he's simply not "the man of my dreams"! And I won't feel bad for it no matter how much they try to convince me I'm wrong 🤷‍♀️

INFJ here! (even though the thinking/feeling scale is pretty much 50/50) But I'm proudly giving scrotes a taste of the typical "INFJ door-slam" 😂

Well... he sounds exactly like the type of guy you'd wanna get away from and I guess every women can sense his misogynistic vibe from miles away 🤷‍♀️

So true! I had male acquaintances get so mad because I told them I'm not gonna date someone I'm not compatible with (and I wasn't even dating them, just talking about dating in general). Why is this whole concept so hard for people to understand? Why waste my time being with someone when it makes me miserable or I know there's no future?! I had guys starting literal debates with me over just stating a standard "well maybe you'll change your mind about children in the future?", "what if you meet …

YES! This is actually the reason my last situationship ended. After already lurking on FDS for some time I just didn't bother to reply to his insulting messages after a fight... best decision ever!

Just because he doesn't value you, doesn't mean you have no value! You're worth it, he's not, so leave him and find better company in yourself, your friends and family! That's what made me leave an emotionally draining situationship and finally develope boundaries and higher standards and my mental health improved so so much! Also: Stop giving a fuck about male opinions and focus more on yourself and the women/girls in your life! I blocked and deleted all my male friends this year and improved m…

He told me that one time when he was 18 he nearly "had sex" with a 13-year old, but "only because she didn't tell him how old she was"... to this day I believe he only added the excuse because he saw how disgusted I looked at him and that he actually might have slept with her (aka raped a minor). Also another guy I was dating told me about how he wishes his ex would die in a climbing accident, then proceeded to ask me out on a climbing date later!

I already thought my last relation-/situationship (or whatever) was fucked up... now that I've read that, I realize it was way worse. My brain can't really process right now that this NVM really used at least one thing out of every category on me...

The last part is 100% true! In highschool I had a male friend who got really anxious and awkward in most social situations, especially in groups and was one of those "shy guys"... but he still managed to ask out the girl he liked in front of her friends and as far as I know the conversations between them went pretty well (they ended up in a year long relationship) 🤷‍♀️ So every "I can't make conversation because I'm such a shy and awkward guy and you have to love me the way I am" guy I meet now …

Awwe I'm so happy to read that 😊💕 And you summed up pretty well what my problem was with those guys... it was especially annoying to hear them complain about me spending "way too much" (of my own money and free time) on "this unnecessary stuff" 🙄 but you gave me hope I'll find someone who'll support my passion for k-beauty and my self-care and until then I'm just gonna keep spoiling myself 😁 Oh and I totally agree with the meditative touch k-beauty brings into my daily routines, especially befor…

I'd recommend "The Little Book of Skin Care" by Charlotte Cho. She explains the basics really well, what the different products do and how to layer them, but adds lots of other tips on how to take care of your skin and talks about her life in Korea as well. The product recommendations might not be up to date (since k-beauty developes really fast) but looking at the ingredients and brands you can easily find similar products to start with 🤷‍♀️ You can probably get this book as a PDF for free (I d…

Omg as someone who absolutely loves K-beauty and always been kinda put down by my ex boyfriends for my "beauty obsession" it makes me so happy to see there's at least one supportive man out there! Also love that he actively supports your self-care that's a big green flag! I hope he keeps being a HVM and I'm wishing you the best! 😊 Oh and have fun with all the great products you're going to discover and this new part of your self-care routine 💕

Awwwe that's so sweet of you to say 😊 I'm so grateful for FDS and feel like it helped me grow so much since I found out about it a year ago! I already fucked up some (minor) things in my young life due to being with NV/LVM and now I can start one of the things I was most excited for with an FDS mindset and become the HVW I want to be! Oh and I already have plans to study abroad! If everything goes right I'll go to South Korea for a year and I have my eyes on internships that would take me abroad…

"Don't do it to me, do it to her!" must definitely be the most forward and empowering thing to say as a feminist and I couldn't think of a million other ways to actually liberate ALL women as a class that don't revolve around stroking the tiny dicks or tiny egos of depraved men! You go queeen! /s (Wtf did I just read...)

"Older white savior and young asian victim?" YES. How can she come up with this thought and not see that this is exactly what is wrong with their relationship?! But I guess she probably knows deep down but refuses to acknowledge it... We can only hope she'll realize soon enough and will then get away fast from this NVM 😬

The amount of shitty car photos I've seen on there!!! Who are you trying to impress with that? If I wanted to see a barely functional cheap old car I'd just walk down the street for a few minutes...🤷‍♀️ Like the only time that makes sense is if it has to do with a hobby? Also good chance the ones with the actual good cars start screaming GOLD-DIGGER at you as soon as you expect more than the bare minimum 😬😂

Also love how he describes all those actions as "impulsive" when most of them require a whole lot of planning... but I guess his 2 brain-cells can't even grasp the concept of that 🤷‍♀️

The way he wrote it you just know she actually put a lot of work and effort into all of this and into improving herself in general, but he needs to deny it so he won't have to admit to himself she's way out of his league... I hope her next "impulsive decision" is getting rid of that NVM 😂

While OLD is definitely useless if you are serious about dating and finding a HVM for a long-term relationship, I personally found it to be a good way to get some exercise in applying FDS principles 🤷‍♀️ I know I'm not gonna find the HVM of my dreams on there, but for now I just want to learn to un-do my pick-me ways and gain some dating experience. And while reading the handbook and FDS posts helped me a lot, I realized that I personally need to try out all of this and OLD makes it kinda easier…

Ooh I never thought about that! But just reading this it totally makes sense to me... definitely gonna dedicate some pages of my self-reflection journal to this! So thanks for such a well written and thought-provoking post 💕 that's the type of helpful content I love FDS for 😊

Funny, that's actually similar to what my therapist asked me once and it opened my eyes SO MUCH!!! "What would all those people in your life name as reasons as to why they love you?" And I realized pretty soon that the one's who actually loved me most were my family and friends and not my NV ex who tried to isolate me from them!

So I'm bi and in my early 20s: What I look out for first are any red flags that mean there's a man in the picture, since I'm bisexual and there are lots of pick-mes out there in relationships with shitty LVM looking for "a third" (often they struggle answering when you ask if they're single, they talk a lot about sex and cross like normal conversational boundaries when doing so, etc.) What I found really helpful is to ask them for there opinion on LGBT related issues and on feminism, because wit…

Same here, my friends treat me to better restaurants, always bring some snacks or drinks when visiting, my favorite jewelry pieces are gifts from friends and we regularly plan "friendship-dates" for each other and there's a lot of random gift giving/ "this reminded me of you so I bought it" going on in our friendship group since we all started leveling up... a LVM could never 😂

Scrotes are so weird about money... at this point I'm just getting really comfortable telling them YES I'm spoiled because I spoil MYSELF and my friends and they do the same because honestly that's the Queen Treatment we deserve 🤷‍♀️ And if he can't keep up with that he should just go ahead, call me spoiled and leave me alone so I can spend my time planning out a spa week-end for me and my girls instead of wasting it on some broke boy arguing over a $30 dinner bill 🙄

The entitlement is so surreal! Men really treat us like free prostitutes... take his offer, hook up and regularly give him something to stick his shriveled excuse of a dick in, HELL NO! I'm just happy this queen knows her worth and calls him out on his sociopathic bs

Got something to add: If he works a lot with his hands and the skin get's super rough he should use some goddamn handcream! I don't want something that feels like you could grate cheese on it anywhere near my vagina 😖 For all of those points everyone has made he should USE HIS OWN THINGS AND NOT MINE!!! Oooh I feel you girl... I'm about 1,82 m which is above average even for most men here and I was sooo insecure about it, especially in my teens and around guys who made me feel bad about it (or fetishized it in some weird way 🤮) But now after leveling up a lot (and also being offered two opportunities to work as a model by serious agencies) I feel like such a queen walking in heels and crushing the fragile egos of LVM 😂

That's sooo true! Looking back every man I've dated had a financial situation that was waaay worse than mine or my female friends... and when they complained and I tried to be helpful they got mad and told me I wouldn't understand since my parents would pay for everything and I didn't have a "real job" (The audacity to make up lies to make themselves feel better...). It's definitely bad as well...🚩 Expressing anger in a healthy and especially NON-THREATENING way and not redirecting anger about something onto you is something really important in a relationship. I had an LV ex who did stuff like that in the beginning and with time it only got worse (like punching through his door, grabbing my arm really hard when I "wasn't behaving" in public, driving too fast and reckless,...) Also on anger in general: 1. Most men can control there anger perfectly fine when s…

Omg this is exactly what happened to me after my low value ex broke up with me "because he couldn't deal with my so-called anxiety I suddenly had"... I felt so horrible after the break-up that my mom made me see a therapist (I just turned 18 at the time, still living at home) and there I found out really fast it wasn't an anxiety disorder, just very low self-esteem caused by an emotionally abusive relationship
