It was about race to them, the guy asking the girl out because she's black and because he's never dated a black girl, and to the girl who didn't like being her identity reduced to her ethnicty/race. Now I understand the main point of the comments in this sub: if the guy asking her out was physically attractive to her she may have accepted his advances instead of being offended. Got it.

Hm, astute observation my friend.

Haha damn dude, that's hilarious. I guess it's just a modern case of "it really do be like that sometimes".

Had this guy given her tingles, it wouldn't have mattered what he said. People have the autonomy and the right to be choosy about who they become romantically or sexually involved with. If this guy says "I wanna date you bc I've never dated a black girl," and she gets "tingles" and accepts, I don't see what the problem is. If she wants to get offended for one reason or another and rejects his advances, she can. Consenting adults and whatnot. Edit: what's with the massive downvotes? Am I being ou…

In the third post where some guy asks her out, it's how she was asked out that's the problem. The guy talks about how he's dated whites and asians but never a black. He's reduced her entire identity to her ethnicity. She's black, a nice prize for his collection. She's supposed to be thankful for this? How can you not see how insulting that is?

You wouldn't google your physician real quick? You can and you should. Salty-ass disagreeing downvoters. I'm adding to the discussion, aren't I?

She knows she fucked up. A medical career (neurology is a prestigious one at that) is a HUGE thing to lose. She's really sorry because she doesn't want to lose it. I know I'd be.

None of which makes her immune to the consequences of a violent crime. This was assault, plain and simple. You'd think someone with all of that training and their career on the line would behave more responsibly. In fact, this really speaks to her self-control, decision making ability, and character. Not sure I'd want her as my health care provider. Totally agree. She is not immune. Her residency program has already disciplined her, and any future job she applies for or any future patients can c…

She is responsible for her actions, though. The dumbass went on TV and took accountability for her shit, and the uber driver did not press charges. She fucked up, she knows it, and she's facing the music. The rest is out of her hands. What more do you want?

I forgot to add, she would be more good than harm to society as a doctor if she keeps it together, than if all that time and money is wasted and she ends up getting an unrelated job elsewhere over something that's relatively minor. 100 percent agree

She's worked harder than four years. 4 years undergrad, 4 years med school, and then 4+ years neuro residency. Just sayin.

She was jailed for 30 days and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service. Classic pussy pass.

Personally I think there's a lot better examples of feminists actually contradicting themselves to get mad about. Post some, I wanna get riled up!!

Maybe you can get a hold of a few of her pay stubs. Those will show that she works full-time and is not the primary caregiver of the children.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
