You really have no idea what you're talking about. I'm amazed you've gotten upvotes. He most likely didn't publish his "manifesto" intentionally to get fired, because he has almost no chance of winning a lawsuit with Google (i.e, California employment is at will). The risk of throwing away a very high paying job for the possibility of winning a lawsuit with Google is pretty irrational, not to mention how badly his reputation is now damaged. Your post is an example of what happens when you fall f…

Never said it was a success. Success is when she comes over to your or her place.

Enjoy man. I put on 10 pounds of muscle in 2016, injured myself and have lost most of everything and don't know when I'll be able to work out again.

I'm open to getting rejected a second time and not texting her again. Not even worth trying? Better to just leave it "open" until she ever texts me first?

Lastly..... NEVER "hold hands" on a first date. What's the reason here? I've had previous dates where I've done the same and then I end the date later in the day with a kiss.

You want carbs while lifting and cutting... it's the first source of energy your body uses. These low carb diets are silly.

As I noted, you need to be working out to make this eating regime even practical. I'll just stick with my grilled chicken, protein powder, oats, and peanut butter though since it's way simpler.
/r/TheRedPill02/01/17 05:28 AM

This isn't a diet. A diet usually implies weight loss. This is a meal plan for people relatively large people who are bulking hard. This is a pointless meal plan unless you're already lifting a lot.

Sex is a basic necessity to live. Without it, you can never fully live or self-actualize. Maslow placed it at the same level as having food and shelter, and I fully agree.

As an engineer, any advice on good places to build social circles, /u/ShallITinder? Most of my time is split between making money and working out at the gym. The issue here is that my social skills have been in free fall since I graduated college. I've considered things like meetup groups (that website), but all in all, it's not clear what options work well for meeting more women.

Is there any value of declining to be friends in the situation I was in or does that look worse than just agreeing and not responding to her texts again?

From what I understand, going 1.5 times per week (4 day breaks) is more ideal than once per week because protein synthesis only lasts for 24-48 hours. If you are still sore for your next workout, you probably want to decrease volume.
/r/TheRedPill22/12/16 03:58 AM
2

This is the opposite. If you do a reasonable lifting schedule of 5-12 reps, and enough volume you will gain most of your muscle mass in the first several months of lifting and everything goes down hill from there.

Body weight exercises will never make you look good. You will need weights. If you don't have access to weights, then it's time for you to solve that problem.

You make a lot of good points. Though to clarify my statement, I should have said that I was speculating on what people would do rather than making a certain statement. I don't have any evidence that people would choose one candidate over the other, beyond speculating on why there appears to be a 3-4% wage gap for women over 30.

I'm not the best looking guy, I'm a little overweight by appearance standards (but I technically have a BMI in the "normal" range now) and I'm balding. I can't blame her for losing attraction. Sounds like he's overweight and didn't take care of himself. The real lesson here is to hit the gym and take care of your hygiene. Your feelings and kindness aren't going to build attraction.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you're allowed to choose a candidate based on if they have kids or not.

then shouldn't businesses fire all men, and replace them with women, since they can pay them less and their primary goal is to run at peak efficiency to maximize profit? No. If you have two candidates, a women with 10 children and a single male who just graduated college with equal credentials and your job requires people to work 80 hours weeks, you can bet that many people would select the male because it seems like he would have fewer obligations to attend to, even if there is no proof for thi…

The gap doesn't exist when you look at ages below 30, so most if any of the "supposed" wage gap, is related to women having children. The supposed 8% gap is pretty questionable at best though, since many other studies find it less than 3-4% when controlling for most relevant factors. I'm inclined to believe that there probably is some level of discrimination against women with children, but I think it's really not more than 3-4%, since most hiring is done blind anyway.

If you did triceps/chest, biceps/back and legs more than twice a week each, that would be at least 9 days... You can't even fit that into a week. Maybe I didn't clarify, twice per week per muscle group.
/r/TheRedPill15/11/16 05:55 PM

Not really. Two times per week is considered optimal. If you need more than two times, than you're either not doing enough or you're overtraining. [edit]: two times per muscle group.

I've been hitting the gym and lifting weights/running a mile every day since Sept. 21. That must be a pretty easy workout if you can go every day of the week...

Not going to make any assumptions here... But that guy's traps are very, very large beyond what may be achievable in a natural way or if you have average genetics. If you want to know a physique that is achievable with several years of lifting (6+), look up Scott Herman.

They are innocent in the court of law and nothing more. This means that they won't go to jail, which is how "innocent until proven guilty" should work. But if future evidence comes up before the statute of limitations, then the person can become convicted once again. So no, they aren't 100% innocent, or whatever nonsense you're spewing.
/r/MensRights09/10/16 12:16 AM

What you're saying is beyond stupid. I'm surprised that this got so many up votes. It's not uncommon that people are unfairly convicted when innocent and unfairly proclaimed innocent when guilty. This is bound to happen when you don't have perfect knowledge on what happened, and when you can only rely on the limited evidence at hand.

Why you don't see equal numbers of women making scientific advancements to men despite more free time, more wealth, and more education This was discussed quite a bit in a different thread and I'm inclined to believe that it's because of socialization. Women have fewer incentives to work hard because they can always fall back on marrying a breadwinner (men value physical appearance more than achievements, so all of the things you mentioned are unnecessary for a women to do to marry a high status …

I'd question the validity of your conclusions. While gender discrimination, in aggregate, is non-existent today, I highly doubt it didn't exist in the 1960s. That was only 40 years after women were given the right to vote. I would imagine that gender roles would probably have shaped what jobs women and men took on. A more useful study would be tracking people growing up in the early 2000s. Also, the SAT was never well correlated with, at least, academic success, which is why the College Board ha…

The amount of incoherent nonsense in your post is mind boggling. The education system taught you the three Rs: reading, writing, and 'rithmetic. These are the basic fundamental skills of functioning in a civilized society. Take a look at the state of third world countries to know how important the education system in the US really is. That being said, the education system was built for the average functioning human. If you want to go beyond average, then you need to learn more in your own time.

It's not. Biology is about spreading your genetics to the next generation and keeping your genes in the gene pool forever on. In order to do that, a man must have children. However, that's not sufficient. Your children need to survive until they can have children. It's completely pertinent that a man should defend his wife (caretaker) and his children until they can mate. Raising children takes a huge amount of resources, so monogamy, at least for some time period, is completely beneficial for b…

Relevant quote: "In an interview with GQ earlier this year, Uber chief executive Travis Kalanick referred to his $18 billion company as “Boober” because it gained him “skyrocketing desirability” with women." Now his Uber is worth more than $60 billion. I'm sure women who didn't give him the time in his day are regretting that.

Sounds accurate except for the "removing perks" part. She actually introduced free food to the office, so that the company could waste more money that they didn't have, rather than just promoting talented people who needed to be retained. She also blew boatloads of money on holiday parties, which is an employee perk, but again, it was a complete fucking waste. Retain good people by paying them more, not be throwing away money that you don't have.

Great you're a minority in that respect, so don't project your opinions on the rest of the world then. Most people aren't planning to die by 30 or have your mental issues and many people do plan to have kids.

Men often want children too and a marriage won't work out well if one person wants children and the other doesn't. There is external pressure (for example, from a husband) for women to have children at some point in their lives. To be more general, the primary care giver for children in a family (regardless if it is a man or a woman) will, more often than not, take a pay cut. It just happens that women give birth and are usually the primary caregivers. My opinion is that the primary caregiver in…

So you're not going to start a family, I'm guessing? If you plan to, your wife is going to have kids and will have to leave the work force, penalizing her income. Having kids is optional, but most people (including men) want children. Marriages don't work out well when one person wants kids and one does not. Someone has to give in. I will concede that a women can choose when to have kids, but saying that women just shouldn't ever have kids to avoid a pay decrease simply makes no sense.
/r/MensRights03/02/16 09:43 AM

Not quite. Some women have to leave the work force temporarily for child birth or if they're the primary caregiver of their children. In this case, by definition, they have less work experience and will make less because of it.
/r/MensRights02/02/16 08:20 AM
1

Not true. Consider women who leave the work force because of child birth. They have less work experience and will, by definition, make less. Intuitively, this doesn't seem fair because only women can birth children. The wage gap exists for women who leave the work force temporarily, but it has nothing to do with discrimination.

A common example of when past performance of a company is nullified is when technology shifts. Take Blackberry and Apple. Phones with keyboards was the norm for several years, but smart phones like the IPhone with touch screens have completely decimated the phone market for phones with keyboards. If a company fails to adapt to changes, past performance is useless. Blackberry was once worth $230 per share, but is now hovering at $7.

If they were good enough, there'd be a female world champion. Not true. Assume that chess skill is normally distributed, so that most people are average and very few are very good. If you sample ten million random people, the maximum skill rating found is, with high probability, going to be higher than the maximum skill level you would find if you sampled 100 people. This just follows from the fact that, every person you sample increases the odds that you will find at least one person with a ver…

That only explains why there are more male chess champions. But, if we were sampling men and women randomly from the same skill distribution, you would find the mean average skill of both and men and women should be equal, if skill was equally distributed. But men have a much higher average rating.

Women make of 50% of consumers so it seems reasonable, in theory, to have 50% women in decision making processes given that men and women aren't equal and have differing interests. A mix of insights is a good thing. At the cost of rejecting talent for "equality"? Probably not.

In cognitive psychology and behavioral economics, losses are much worse than gains. When people expect you to do something and you don't, this is a loss to them. This is worse than if they didn't expect anything from you. They had no expectations, so there is no loss. A common one is if someone says they'll do you a favor and they back out later, you feel more angry than if he didn't commit at all.

I run into a statistically significant number (~5%) of feminists on my Facebook friends list who support a lot of the nonsense you see posted here. It's a real issue. The scary part is that these people are all very well educated as well.

How do you simply "reach out and touch her hand when you make points"? In a random conversation, I'm not sure how this would work without it being awkward? "Guide her to the car/table/whatever with your hand in the small of her back." Can you clarify what you mean?

is that I feel very pressured to do well to represent my gender You know who's judging you on that, right? Those are other women. Most men, frankly, don't care as long you're good at what you do. The feeling of letting other people down isn't uncommon among men who are high achievers too.
