You should put this in R/dataisbeautiful! Regarding the texting and dating, sorry for the breakup, but I agree with you, you shouldnt change who you are and keep texting as much as feels comfortable. If it bothers your partner or he feels you are paying too much attention to him, he should communicate this to you when it happens so you can both work on fixing it.
