I decided to write a program to analyze our text and using hard data to show him wrong You are entitled to your opinion but I dont agree with it at all. If she has been doing this analysis during their relationship, trying to prove her point I might agree that it's a bit weird. But I think she is just simply an analytical and logical person who was interested in whether the data proves what was said by her ex. Even in her conclusion you can see this. You should put this in R/dataisbeautiful! Regarding the texting and dating, sorry for the breakup, but I agree with you, you shouldnt change who you are and keep texting as much as feels comfortable. If it bothers your partner or he feels you are paying too much attention to him, he should communicate this to you when it happens so you can both work on fixing it.
