A 120 lb man is typically significantly stronger than a 120 lb woman and is more likely to be putting full force behind it (how often do you see men do those little slaps?) So yeah, if she was stronger and hitting harder, people would be more ok with a ko punch in response

I actually think in the US, when a judge decides custody it's very evenly split. Most cases though the dad doesn't try to push for the same rights as the mom does.

Forensic evidence wasn't as trusted back then, and then the police "accidently" destroyed the evidence. 100% the police should be in jail, its just every time this story is posted you get a lot of people blaming the woman. She didn't lie about where the memory came from and was actually raped, blame the police and jury.

She was raped and traumatized and did not clearly remember who raped her. Tells the police that day after. A few days later, she has this dream and tells the police. They feel it is a repressed memory. Edit: she did name someone the night of, but changed it a few days later.

Well, she actually was assaulted, and she was open about the fact that she saw his face in a dream. Something like 95% of the blame goes to the cops for treating a "dream identification" as a real thing and throwing away evidence, 4% goes to the jury for taking it seriously, and 1% goes to her for going through with this. If she honestly thought her dream was a repressed memory, should she have just kept quiet?
