Women are devoid of agency when they make mistakes or do bad things. They blame men, the patriarchy or my favourite excuse, “internalised misogyny”

British women are becoming more retarded and entitled by the second

If women could grow a dick, they’ll spend their whole life telling men their shit is harder than ours

Another clsssic example of women wanting to their cake and eat it. Men can’t have that toxic traditional masculinity but also have to provide and protect (good traits of traditional masculinity) whereas women don’t have to be burdened by gender roles and put nothing on the table for their partners. Lmao

If AWDTSG is allowed to exist then men should start their own page where we can vet out cheaters/users/false accusers/abusive women. I think that’s a fair trade.

I generally don’t see a benefit in marriage except cheaper tax but is it worth the hassle of a divorce ?

Ignore them and decide what’s path is best for you! Just treat everyone with kindness really.

Gotta get my popcorn out and watch the feminists conveniently ignore this paper like they did with the Asia Argento allegations.

It sucks because I know how you feel but good luck getting anyone to care. Men are perceived to be privileged horny deviants so Men being SA’d or SH’d is seen as a punchline or an opportunity they can’t refuse. Next time it happens, I’m going to identify as a woman or non-binary so maybe the women who touch others without consent are branded as sexual predators, you know, the same way men are.

Men are expected to solve their own problems/issues and if we don’t, we are failures.

Nah man we need to think about the only victims here: the women sitting at home while their husbands, brothers and sons sign up their lives to become cannon fodder against their will /s.

It’s so easy to ignore all of the pavala on Reddit. I agree with what you’re saying: it’s simply a clear archaic double standard considering more women are entering the workforce. They want to dismantle gender roles until the same gender roles benefits them. Every date I go on, we always split the bill or I pay for mine and she hers. Trust me, there’s plenty of women who are ok with this and if a woman think she’s entitled to your wallet because you asked her out then you can simply find someone…

They only want traditional gender roles in place when it suits them, go figure.

If they’re that bothered then why don’t they court us so they can ask us out? Simple problems only require simple solutions.

They see our feelings as laborious which is interesting because wouldn’t that completely contradict their point about men’s issues being invalid because we’re supposed to have it easy? Then they turn around and tell us to confide in friends or get therapy because of toxic masculinity and rates of male suicide, the hypocrisy is a joke. Honestly, mainstream culture doesn’t care about these inconsistencies and the best thing to do is be a good friend and be surrounded by good friends who listen. I’…

One of the worst things to happen to contemporary discourse is the ham-fisted use of terminology to fit their narrative. Emotional labour, came from labour theory and illustrated people in the workplace having to exercise a fake demeanour under the guise of being a professional; from the cashier having to fake smile at customers all day or a call centre worker having to calmly deal with strangers shouting at them through the phone. Emotional labour is not women or anyone for that matter having t…

It would be good if he could include some data or statistics. Like I believe the courts are biased against men but 1 in 50 allegations of DV being serious sounds like a stretch. I also think threatening your partner is domestic abuse as abusers have used threats to coercively control their partner into being compliant which is gross and manipulative.

These conversations will stay one-sided because it’s easier to put the onus on the other party than to do some of the heavy lifting. It also boils down to most men and women following heteronormative scripts as well. Women aren’t expected to pursue men romantically by directly approaching a guy they like and seeing their experiences with men who don’t get the hint, perhaps they don’t want to be seen as the creepy initiator. Hence the pushback. Speaking on my experiences as a dude, women often se…

Yeah even down to dating, women are used to having the guys do everything for them in that area. I think it comes from the notion that women who pursue and lead are slutty which is obviously wrong. And I also agree, we should allocate a cat to every boy because they’re fucking cool.

I mostly had to lead or ask anyway but my ex would ask if I wanted head sometimes. Realistically those were the only times where women have asked for my consent. Growing up, as a boy, I never had my boundaries acknowledged. I’ve been groped, harassed in the past and I brushed it off because I thought only women get harassed and assaulted. I say teach girls and boys about consent and that THEIR boundaries matter rather than seeing consent as an one-sided, heteronormative discussion. It’s definite…

I’m really glad I got off twitter last year because fuck me the discourse on that app is a cesspool of bad takes. Dude’s a professor as well.

This is really interesting but sad to see considering how the discourse on sex workers mostly centers around women and trans. The fact I haven’t even thought about the experiences that male SW’s go through this until now means we need more research and space for them to talk their truth.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
