This happened to me once, where he didn't brush his teeth, and before making out with him I just said "hey I'm going to go brush my teeth" and he followed suit lol. Maybe make the tone a bit hint hint but not too much.

My only real point here is, I think it's perfectly OK, and even advisable for us to be a little flexible with our theories and even admit that we're not entirely sure about this or that point. I think that's fair. We are doing the same, trying to figure things out, and we are coming at this from a female perspective too so it would be natural for our understandings to be different and for us to draw different meanings from different words/theories. As the saying goes "women are from Mars and men…

Well I'm no expert but I do think that it is possible to overdo it but I think that if you have, you can sense it, right? And then you simply cool off for a bit and then things are just as they were. About hobbies, for me, I would usually read something about them or see something in the news about it and mention it to them and they would love to talk about it. Usually something like 'i was reading that ...' or 'i heard that ... ' but it definitely was very once in a while. As for compliments, I…

Here are some ideas off the top of my head: Cook him his absolute favourite food. Men love that. If you master his favourite dishes and make him something if he makes you particularly happy. Take care of something for him so that he has more time to do something that is a hobby for him. Or that he has a bit more spare time (but you seem to already do that with the cleaning) Take an interest in something that he is passionate about so that he can talk about it with you. Look really good when you …

Honestly I think I'm just overly cynical sometimes, and it seems like a lot of people in this sub think that it's appropriate to go to his house and I'm no expert. But I think if you do decide to avoid it if you take him out and offer to pay his ego wouldn't suffer and he would understand.

I don't concede anything by posting in a subreddit. If the only argument you have for the alpha widows existence is "it's in the sidebar therefore it is true" then it certainly doesn't hold water. About hypergamy. While we are on the subject, the amount of men who I personally know of that look for side chicks, have cheated at some point in the past, dumped their girlfriends for other women etc surely equal the number of women who do the same. To say this is solely a female quality is false. Jus…

God this "let's cook together" line has been used on me so many times. Luckily it's only been by guys who were only interested in sex. I say luckily because I felt no loss in turning them down since there was no ambiguity in it and they barely knew me as a person and in your case it's less clear cut. You don't seem comfortable with this. This guys ego might be bruised a bit if you take it back, even if it doesn't seem like it, because this does covertly imply a hook up. If I were you I would say…

Yeah you are right, I should really start taking care of my hair again. It's so central to attraction. Braids are great, classier than a ponytail but not that much more complicated :)

Well right now I let them hang because I have stopped caring, but if I want to look good I bleach it because it looks better/less stringy when it's very blonde. If it's a special occasion I'll put in hair extensions, I was thinking of getting tape in hair extensions when I start dating. It stays put for 4-6 weeks, you treat it like regular hair and then you swap it. It's kind of expensive though and I'm not sure if men would be put off by it. My fashion icon uses them: Her instagram But honestly…

Ah I get it now. That is ridiculous that RPwomen are moderated by RP mods when their message/goals are practically opposed to our ours.

Well I feel like there are always better women than me out there. Even if I had a fit body, if I were to hang around Victoria secret models, decent looking women with F U money, etc etc I would also be invisible. I think you just have to love yourself as you are and from that focus on things that you can improve, and take pride in that. That's what I try to do.

Hi! I'm a single 26 year old living in the southern US. Got married at 19 (he was 29), helped my husband out at his business. Got a divorce a few months ago, no children. He found someone else, in retrospect I should have put more effort into improving myself, I didn't turn into a lazy fat nagging hag or anything but he continuously improved himself and I guess I became comfortable doing the same thing year after year. I feel that I have to start my life from scratch in certain respects: I've ju…

I think this concept of "alpha widow" is just a character in a male fantasy where a man wishes to happen upon a girl that does fuck all but be sheltered, reject all male advances, and wait for him to take her in such a display of manhood that she is forever shaken to the core. If a guy suspects that someone did this before, the woman is deemed an "alpha widow". Men also get insecure about your ex, or some masculine Chad this outdoes him. So there is that too. It's like if we cared if a man had a…

>he's angry that I walked away from him when I did >"if you hadn't left then none of this would have happened." >"you shouldn't have to take responsibility because you shouldn't have done it in the first place because you shouldn't have left me." This is unreasonable. You wouldn't have left him if he would have committed to you back then. He expected you to keep him at the centre of your world when he wouldn't make you the centre of his? This is very hypocritical and unfair. Sometimes people kic…

Hmm, I don't think that it is necessarily bad. It's less stressful than a formal dinner where you have to sit across from said person and perform basically. At least that is what it feels like. Dinner dates are so awkward imo. Slightly fancier than coffee. Being asked on a coffee date feels like being asked for an interview to see if you are worthy of loftier dates. I wouldn't order anything alcoholic though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
