Something isn't so because you say it is. If it's a lobby group or a special interest group, tell me who's in charge so I can sign up! Education is still nowhere near equitable. Males and females are still privileged in their traditionally accepted subjects. Sexism is the cause behind custody and visitation rulings. Women are more "nurturing"--their place is in the home, caring for children and baking brownies. Fighting sexism is fighting for fathers' rights.

Not all locations offer all services (for example, abortions are only provided at 3% or something of all PP locations), but I remember a time when a male friend and I went to PP, me for the morning after pill (condom done slipped right off) and him to find out what the burning was when he peed. I believe it was a sliding fee (based on income) and so we both chipped in, he got an antibiotic and peed with comfort in no time, and I didn't get pregnant. Win, win, win!

What about the rights, protections, and equality of human beings? What use is that sort of divisive talk? I don't know anyone (male or female) who's ONLY concerned with the rights of one sex. I'm a feminist and I've heard it from men and women. Women often do it out of abjection--- they don't want to be seen as the slut, so they call someone else one. I don't know why men do it, although doing it results in reinforcing sexist double standards: guys are supposed to sleep around, women are supposed to LOOK sexy but not actually be interested in sex. It's a tough row to hoe for women and girls to navigate that quagmire.

Who are you speaking for? I do give a shit when men are badly beaten.
