Did he not bring it because there’s a possibility he might be dating another student at your school? That’s the only thing I can think of to not publicly carry around presents that obviously makes you seem like you are in a relationship. I would have my feelers up to see if anything else is going on. Observe carefully his behavior around his phone and when you approach him. If he closes out of an app quickly or acts weird as you get closer- I would probably dump him. I wish I acted on my intuiti…

Integrity, values his honor and word to the highest degree, embraces responsibility and duties without fear or hesitation, does not have a additive personality and compassionate without judgement.

Wholeheartedly agree! I also do not let any man come to my house. It takes about a year and half for them to know where I even live. I had a relationship for a couple years where I tried this for the first time. He lived close enough to me where going to his place spending time with him wasn’t costly. I controlled how much time and the quality of time by only going to his place because I decided when I wanted to leave if he was too busy or wanted to just watch TV. Doing this also allowed me main…

Yes - I heartily agree. Also, using weed over an extended time will shrink your brain matter. My ex was a heavy weed smoker (daily) but high functioning creative executive. When he could not get his daily dose, he went through severe mood swings. During those times he was apt to be more physically abusive than his usual emotional abusive self. I steer clear of anyone who uses drugs … even socially acceptable weed. I agree with ultblue… it’s a symptom of dissociating and not being to handle emoti…

I know you put the link to show FWBs strategy but it doesn’t mean he’s a HVM. It’s giving advice on how to make sure you aren’t getting taken advantage of and vetting that he has some basic investment in you in terms of respect and your pleasure. It’s doesn’t mean he’s HV.

So he’s only seeking someone to have sex with? Was he upfront with you about that from the beginning?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/02/22 07:25 PM

I agree. HVM would want to put his full energy into finding someone to be in a committed relationship with. Energy with other people especially sexual energy deflects from that goal.

Second that! Zero thirst trap pictures and after implementing this strategy - the obscene sexts dropped down dramatically. I did concede to a body pic but chose one of my OOTD business conference outfit wearing a office jacket over a fitted dress (pencil skirt). The change in men’s messages is DRAMATIC! I would highly recommend as in quality of my dates have risen!

He was in between jobs … I wouldn’t date someone with that much instability. He might be financially secure but when job searching and the potential to go wherever the job is … I would have have dated extremely slowly (or honestly not at all) until that was permanent and he adjusted to his position at least 6 mos. If she had followed that advice, she would avoided the whole mess.

I have two sons - 24 and 16. With the oldest, I was already teaching him basic cooking skills, how to clean the house properly (no weaponized incompetence here). He already knew how to do laundry and fold clothes Japanese-style (Kondo) by the time he was in middle school. He saw the value in it when at school the teachers asked to fold their class shirts and he impressed them with his simple but very precise folding. When they both started working at 16, their bosses were impressed that they kne…

It’s not really about the ring. It’s about conflict resolution when they have differences in opinion. It’s also about listening to his partner about her needs and wants and validating it. To spend that much money and not know your partner’s tastes and style after 5 years is worrisome. And then dig your heels in the sand when she voices her preferences is extremely telling and troublesome. It’s a sign of how he values their relationship not the ring.

They do that in case they have a gf, partner or spouse. It’s harder to text if you are on a OLD app rather than a phone number disguised with another name. Keeping it on the app discourages cheaters or at least makes it harder for them to communicate without getting caught. Also, some men just want to do sexting so getting your phone number is easy because they won’t trigger the inappropriate responses on the apps. I usu keep it on the app for safety reasons and to keep the conversation PG-13. M…

Hmmm this is a tough one- cause it’s at crossroads and everyone has some really good strategic advice. One thing I haven’t seen is … at your age 33… regardless of the relationship status … why aren’t you dating multiple people? I feel 6 mos. and definitely 12 mos. is too much time to give. I, myself, am much older by 10 years. Personally I think it’s silly to call a guy my boyfriend… at this stage of my life he’s either fiancé or husband. When guys know you are intentionally dating to get marrie…

I myself do not prefer period sex (usu it happens by accident because my flow occurs earlier than expected). But I do assume period sex is something preferred to be done with an established, committed partner and not someone you’ve only had a handful of dates. Unless you specifically say you love period sex to him … I think it’s safe to say he will be more likely not to make moves in case you aren’t feeling comfortable due to cramps. I just know in my situation it has always worked.

It’s to brainwash us - to socialize us to accept the worst in men. To make it seem nurturing is our awesome power to be bestowed on men. I hate movies like this. Because when I was younger, I wanted to be the heroine… to save the world and be understanding and help someone fix their issues because no one else will do it. This scene is toxic to young, impressionable girls. I hate it because I bought into it and wasted years and mentally exhausted myself when I was so young and should have focused…

My ex lost his virginity at a later age too - 26. If you are looking for something serious - as in marriage - I would tread carefully. Most men want that exploratory stage after being a virgin for so long. Most likely he could use you for training and getting to be a better lover and then breakup because he needs to see what it feels like to be with other women. Also, most virgins I’ve been with always want to try some disgusting porn move on me. It took me a while to figure out it was a porn mo…

💯agree with post! I was on a short timeline and when I dated my ex… I specifically asked if he wanted kids which he replied yes. 1 year and half in - he changed it to “I don’t know”and letting me know his possible timeline which made it virtually impossible for me to have children naturally with him. He knew how old I was. He was open to adoption but people don’t really realize how intrusive and expensive adoption is on top of a whole other myriad of points to consider ( my godson is adopted and…

He’s telling you already how he feels. I wouldn’t drop dating … I would drop him. Don’t trick yourself into trying to prove yourself worthy to him. I promise you the instant he runs into someone he has a “spark” for … he will drop whatever relationship investment he had with you. OR worse case scenario- if you guys make the distance- could have an affair. Drop him now when your own investment is low and before he drops you. I read somewhere online - when rich guys or guys with very nice homes open up to couch surfers- since they have the ability to choose who they want - more often than not - they choose female travelers. Usu in hopes for a hookup. If not, then friendly conversation with a female. I would not date a guy who does that.

Don’t do it!! She’s def right- bait and switch. If he’s really conscious of Covid- he will be very selective of who he chooses to meet up. That’s the responsible way of dating and not spreading covid. Hold him to the dinner date. I made the mistake of doing a coffee date (thank god during mid-week and my lunch) and I was actually catfish. I tell myself I’m gonna being dating a lot of guys and meeting a lot of new ones. But it only takes 1. Only 1 that you need for it to work out. Knowing this ahead helps me set realistic expectations about the task at hand. I can have fun during the process. Finding a relationship is bonus. And if I don’t, I’m ok just being by myself.

I used to think it was an “amber” flag because I went to therapy myself but mostly for maintenance or after a hard breakup. But if I’m honest with myself, when I was going to therapy, I wasn’t in the position to be in a serious relationship because I was just too raw inside - if that makes sense. So dealing with my needs and needing a professional to process it with me … adding another person’s needs ( relationship) isn’t a wise cocktail. Personally… when guys mention on-going therapy during the…

I get that cooking is your passion. I cook pretty well but I LOATHE it. I read a Reddit post once - about a chick who was an expert cook but didn’t want the mental load of cooking for any of her SO - something like that. Anyways, she pretty much faked even knowing how to cook the duration of their relationship and so her S.O. took up the cooking aspect of their relationship. Her dilemma I think was how to tell him now that they were engaged. BUT I thought her white lie was GENIUS!! So now, anyti…

I let the guy pursue at all times - this way I know right off the bat how invested he is. I find guys who are interested will ask for your phone number. Guys who are really really interested will take you out to dinner within 1-2 weeks. I stuck to my rule and I had one who not only took me out to dinner, didn’t make any crazy inappropriate moves and then gave me ROYCE chocolate after our date. I’m still vetting him but he’s been consistently texting each day. I was impressed with the chocolate w…

Exactly! I do it all the time now after finding out in CA it is public records. I’ve found many men saying they are divorced and it’s not finalized OR they just filed it the month before. My general rule is no dating unless one year after the divorce is FINALIZED. At least one year and that’s if it’s amicable.

Yup yup girl! We (INFJ) got some weird super powers - it used to freak me and my closest friends out. I’m starting to lean into it more and stop rationalizing it out - partly due to FDS. Now when I feel an inkling of something off - I just block and delete. It’s in my nature to give the benefit of doubt but this time I want to build up stronger boundaries and feel my intuition more because in the end - it gets stronger. Dating has become more enjoyable because even though it doesn’t work out - I…

I’m curious… are you an INFJ? If you are, I would listen to your body and the clues - just like what everyone is telling you. I wish I did because 90% of the time I was right and in the worse way possible. And if you are wrong — in that slim 10% chance… if the guy really was into you and valued you… he would try harder to make it work. So to me - listening to your intuition is a win/win in both instances. When a guy is really into you… he will move everything to prove it.

I’ve actually taken up salsa and bachata classes. I wasn’t ready to enter the dating world quite yet but after lockdown I wanted some kind of human connection. Because there were beginner and intermediate classes before the social club opened up (later in the evening)… learning to dance with a class that alternate partners allowed me to connect/touch (professionally) which ended at the end of the dance. It’s quite fascinating to see how chemistry is different with each dancer and helped me maste…

If she was your closest friend, she wouldn’t have to make it your problem and say to you that you need to enforce boundaries. I don’t think she views you as a close friend but rather a competitor for her man’s attention/love.

Totally agree! I brainwashed myself to be “understanding” and me being too strict about social media. I found out the hard way after forgiving my LV ex. After forgiving and putting in another year to our relationship, I found out he was secretly swiping (he says - with a fake account) while he slept next to me because he was addicted to swiping and also a porn addict. I wish I read this advice a couple years ago. My exbf and I had an issue … a week into finally being exclusive. We were all invited to his roomate’s artshow which also featured his exgf/now very good friend. My ex bf (who I thought was something special because he remembered the things we talked about), ended up confessing a year in our relationship that he had a black book of sorts of all the girls he hooked up on Tinder including ages, occupation and special interests and hobbies. I’m glad I didn’t give in at the time ... I learned later on that breast enhancements need to be replaced every 10 years or so. So if you get them in your 20s you’ll need to replace them at least twice. IUD implantation can be a bit risky. Also I believe I read somewhere that here in the US, we don’t have quite a selection of IUD compared to Europe so more likely to get pain and scarring from the implantation. I don’t think she will be ok- she had two good swings on her head unobstructed. And even though the caught woman was totally in the wrong - I’m for raising up women and helping them become aware. I used to be a pickmesha in terms of “I’m not other girls” (not for cheating) and one of the things that help me see the light is the camaraderie with other females - enlightened or not. That video above, IMO, goes against it.

I had the same solution to my “feminist” (ex) bf who tried to tell me the solution was to de-stigmatize sex work and make it socially acceptable. To make men feel like it’s ok to objectify women as objects and brainwash the masses rather than create systems like affordable (or even universal) childcare or sustainable wages for women. He thought he won the argument when I just realized why am I wasting my breath explaining this to a man 🙄🙄
