Sounds like he wants someone who won’t cheat on him (loyal) and will do acts of service for him (caring) while he continues to not provide you with anything in return. No ring, no bills paid… he is not husband material! Remember you are the chooser.

I would love to hear more about this if you’re willing to share. Specifically, what softened you?

Here’s some advice from a woman. I don’t know if this is just my own little kink, but I feel like it might work on most women. The best sex I ever had was with a guy who would tell me how fucking gorgeous and stunning I was during sex. Made it so hot for both of us. I never had a problem orgasming.

Totally agree. I made the conscious choice to give my fiancé a chance because I knew he was super into me for a while and would feel lucky to be with me, and I wanted that level of security in a husband. Of course, it was also important to me that he was masculine, attractive in my eyes, good with kids, fit in with my family, hard working, etc. etc. But the main point being, I never felt like I was striving for someone out of my league. I’ve heard a lot of other women take the same approach too.

Keep telling her over and over how gorgeous she looks while doing it.

From a woman’s perspective, I see a lot of truth in this. I like meeting guys when we know people in common, because if he’s got skeletons in his closet, I’ll eventually find out. His past history, who he’s dated/almost dated/ etc., I’ll find out (more or less). If there’s anyone he’s had beef with, I’ll find out. Whereas meeting some random online, it’s a lot easier for them to hide their past.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
