It was before the democratic primaries of 2018. The only reason I know about it is because I overheard my Professor of philosophy discussing it before class. The problem with discovering a source, besides all that has occurred since then, is Kamala is more than likely not the first to propose such a policy, but rather publicly condoned it and/or promoted it. I don't necessarily see what is so embarrassing about it, yes you probably could sue the living pants off of her, but it would be a difficult road. This is true. The burden of proof is on her, especially since you mentioned she was a member of the same group you were hanging with.
