All the anxiety you're suppressing with benzos will come back 10x when you're forced (or choose) to come off. You think you're anxious now? You haven't seen a thing. Don't test it; these drugs can destroy you. I wouldn't wish withdrawal on anyone. Doesn't take much. Lift heavy. There are far better solutions for anxiety.

Persist. You have the potential to grow from this in ways you may not fully grasp. Hit me up if you need.

Of course. But it wasn't just one thing: a proper lifting program cascades into all parts of my life. I eat better, I sleep better, I quit drinking and staying out late and I make better choices overall. Confidence soars. Night and day difference in mindset with and without the iron. But then you get swole and lean and all of a sudden youre working a ho. How easy it is to slip and end up a beta bitch. Once, twice, three times. We all end up here for a reason. The iron don't lie. Keep on improvin…

I was running 2-3 5K races a week. My focus was on lifting and diet. I looked nothing like the typical runner and would often get confused looks when stating my weekly mileage was somewhere between 7 and 10. My competition was putting in 50+. Kept the intensity high.

Those are big numbers. I've had disc issues to one extent or another about four times over a decade of lifting, most recently from a single DL attempt in January. Came back stronger each time, recovery anywhere from 2 months to 6. Strong supporting musculature is likely to thank. It can be a fine line pulling that heavy. My DL form is solid, but a 3x lift in a freezing cold garage gym after 12 weeks on can be a roll of the dice. Sometimes shit happens, just gotta keep at it. Or double down on th…

Thanks. For the last few years it's been 6 months of strength building in the fall/winter, followed by 6 months of strength maintenance and running & cycling in the spring/summer. Strength program is a modified 5-3-1 with a pyramid set/rep scheme, ex: DL 5x335, 5x395, 5x440, 5x395, 5x335. Lifting four days a week, one lift per day, squat/press/dead/bench. Rowing to warm-up, ab wheel work in-between sets, two accessory lifts (db row, db bench, pull-ups, weighted dips, weighted back extensions, et…

5'6" 152lbs 475lb deadlift 17:29 5K Lift heavy, run fast. Low body-fat, built, abs. Strong AF for my size. Fat stacks. Biz owner for 10 years this month. No problem with women. I can't change my height, but everything else I've worked for and improved upon. Fix your mindset. (Plus I'm 6'2" when you add in my wang. Doesn't hurt)
