Looking for mental health support while male. A short rant/vent about why I'm here.if by "adventure" you mean "math camp", this is exactly what I have been doing for my past three birthdays =) | /r/MensRights | 08/07/15 01:05 AM
| – | Looking for mental health support while male. A short rant/vent about why I'm here.that second part is exactly why I have chosen not to organize support services myself. We basically have no legal recourse against insane people, because the way our systems work do not take into consideration the mental health of those making accusations. If you're forced to defend yourself against a person that is making shit up in a pathological web of lies, your defense has to be air tight and iron clad. I haven't given up. I've learned how to tell which people will stand up for what they be… | /r/MensRights | 08/07/15 01:01 AM |
Looking for mental health support while male. A short rant/vent about why I'm here.Aren't men only groups considered sexist? This was precisely my complaint. In general, I'm willing to play by the rules society sets, so long as they are fair. Male dominated tech groups receive harsh criticism if they do not aggressively enough pool their meager resources into recruiting females. Female exclusive support groups receive no such criticism, and male mental health support groups are often protested. | /r/MensRights | 08/07/15 12:58 AM
Jarrett Adams, imprisoned for 10 years under false rape accusations, recently graduated from law school to defend the wrongly accusedAgain, definitely not my experience. I guess our local SJ crowds weigh the race and gender axes differently. | /r/MensRights | 17/06/15 12:38 AM

Jarrett Adams, imprisoned for 10 years under false rape accusations, recently graduated from law school to defend the wrongly accusedThey'll throw minority men under the bus as soon as they get a chance. Really? In my experience SJ activists are incredibly timid about criticizing racial minorities. I see tons of silly articles criticizing songs like "Blurred Lines" and "All About that Bass" but pretty much no criticism of songs that are by any objective measure far more offensive but created by black artists. There is also a high correlation in my social circles between people who post articles about feminism and people who p… | /r/MensRights | 16/06/15 08:06 PM
Jarrett Adams, imprisoned for 10 years under false rape accusations, recently graduated from law school to defend the wrongly accusedI've had some success finding common ground with SJ types by pointing out the violations of due process that black men face. And once you make it there it's much easier to convince them that there are due process violations across the board. | /r/MensRights | 16/06/15 06:23 PM
College discredit: Acquitted of rape, still shamed; Hobart student's life destroyed, has no recourse for expulsion after false accusation.Don't these mean almost the same thing? Not guilty = prosecution has failed to prove the defendant guilty. http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/not+guilty http://thelawdictionary.org/verdict-of-not-guilty/ | /r/MensRights | 24/05/15 07:49 PM
College discredit: Acquitted of rape, still shamed; Hobart student's life destroyed, has no recourse for expulsion after false accusation.I'm all for calling out false accusations... but there is almost no evidence presented in this article. You can disagree with the preponderance of the evidence standard for college sexual assault hearings (I do) while still acknowledging that a failure to reach a beyond a reasonable doubt standard of evidence does not mean that the accusation was false. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/15 06:22 AM
Occidental Justice: The Disastrous Fallout When Drunk Sex Meets Academic BureaucracyAnother noteworthy part of the article: A few weeks after filing with the Superior Court, in an apparent effort to show Occidental's inconsistent application of its own sexual-assault policies, John filed a sexual-assault complaint against Jane Doe with Occidental. He claimed she did not obtain his consent prior to performing oral sex on him—as he doesn't even recall this happening, and nobody ever asked Jane whether she received consent from John, he believes it should be subject to the same sc… | /r/MensRights | 01/04/15 08:21 PM
Broke up with gf of 3 years 3 weeks ago. Dating new girl. Should I bring her around friends?I was going to write something complicated but I think a simple "no" will suffice. | /r/seduction | 21/11/10 01:45 PM
Don't be afraid of showing your interestsI don't enjoy dating girls that aren't geeks, so I consider this more of a feature than a bug. I plaster my geekiness everywhere and use it to filter out the normal people. Would you really want to hang out with someone who judged you for having non-mainstream hobbies? | /r/seduction | 21/11/10 12:52 PM
