At this point, most of my replies are answers to direct questions about my experiences. None of the statements in this thread are supported by facts and they don't need to be, because they are all anecdotes. And I have also mentioned several times that these are also the experiences of my friends, family and colleagues. If you read my comments, you will see that. I addressed the crux of your statement very early in the conversation. Just because you have not seen these behaviors, does mean they …

When comments about race are brought into the conversation, immediately and unprovoked, by the Asian woman, then it's reasonable to believe that race is a factor.

This entire conversation has been nothing but personal experiences, starting with the OP's statements. These are not outlandish claims, either, everything I said in my last paragraph has been said before, ad nauseum... mostly by White, Western men. Femininity, like masculinity, is based on a lot of factors and varies widely among people. There are also different ways to express femininity and masculinity in different cultures.

I also acknowledged cases where Asian Americans do blend in, already. As I said, he's cut off several female friends over this. It turns out that they were attracted to him and they continued to hit on him via email after hearing rumors he…

Are you sure of that? I don't say this sarcastically, Japanese people tend to pick up on this very quickly. The Asian American person might blend in on some occasions, but many of them present themselves differently than Japanese people in ways that many Japanese people can easily see. Yes, and it's quite obnoxious.

This couldn't be more incorrect. You must be a non-Asian man, to say such a silly thing. I don't mean this to be offensive, but there is a lot at play that you are 1) not exposed to, because you're a *mon-Asian and a man, so people don't bother to talk to you about it and 2) you might see some of it and choose to ignore it. I would know, I am a White American woman who is married to a Japanese (born and raised) man. There are insecure and secure people in all ethnicities, nationalities and in bo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
