Phobia means an extreme or irrational fear or dislike of a specified thing or group, so terms like transphobia and homophobia are correct. That’s fair but other studies say some things are more of a cross between male and female brains and that some parts of the brain in mtf people don’t complete the masculinization process during development. I guess there are similarities to both but we’re still our preferred gender bc of those differences. There is no cure for people who are trans other than transitioning itself.. we’re literally born with male bodies and female brains or vice versa. If it can get to a point where they can detect that in fetuses/developmental stages and somehow correct it or prevent it then great but I doubt it ever will be. The amount of time someone would need to experience long term permanent changes on blockers is less than they’d need to take them. They could even increase gender dysphoria diagnoses to 1 year…

There’s a lot here but I’ll just say that getting rid of gender norms does not mean getting rid of people expressing themselves within the existing norms of their preferred gender.. it’s simply society accepting and allowing people to express opposing gender norms without fear of judgement or hate. Femininity in men / masculinity in women doesn’t mean they’re born with an opposing brain/body though. They may have some similar characteristics but they aren’t wired to be their preferred gender as they are in trans women and men.
