Yes, and I'm saying there's no reason to say that Islam comes closest to criminalizing menstruation when Leviticus has the exact same attitude. Both are just as bad as each other. And I would argue that both treat menstruation as inherently shameful/bad.

Menstruating isn't said to be... inherently bad in Leviticus. It just means you are impure vs In Islam a menstruating woman is considered to be impure
