I have lots of close friends that are women. They generally know right off the bat what’s happening when a random dude approaches. It’s the elephant in the room and I prefer to know my place as soon as I can naturally find out without making it awkward so I don’t get invested in a 10 minute chat only to get turned down at the end.

I don’t think so. She had literally only said “thank you” before I played my hand (head?) lol. I have a satisfying enough sex/dating life with the chrome dome. Sure it has gotten in the way before but I doubt it in this scenario, she was a very pleasant lady.

I was bullied a LOT growing up. To this day I still have self confidence issues from time to time, but I am a lot more confident because I’ve proved myself to myself over the years through (insert life story here). Let’s be honest, this didn’t come naturally, I had half the conversation planned before I approached. That’s why I made my intent known so quickly, I didn’t want to invest in a long conversation only to get turned down at the end. How old are you? For me, it came with age.
