I don’t think she’s shaming anyone. You’re right that not being wanted/picked by some guy isn’t our fault or even a bad thing. But it’s reality and we have to be really honest with ourselves. FDS stands on beliefs like he should be showing clear consistent interest, right? If it’s not obvious to you that he’s interested it’s because you’re insecure (or lying to yourself) OR (much more likely) he’s not making enough effort and therefore not interested (might also involve lying to yourself)

I feel like people forget that LVM means there is a little value added to your life when they are in it but not enough for it to be worth it. But people assume they are fundamentally a bad person as opposed to not just good enough for us here on FDS. Would average man be like moderate value man (MVM?). Save as much money as you can. Find reasons to leave the house daily (going on walks, visiting friends if your country allows it rn). Alter your schedule for the last amount of intersection with them e.g. going to bed and getting up before they do. Stand up for yourself if it is not dangerous to do so and make it clear that your boundaries won't be crossed. Of course, this might not be an option if they have control over you financially or otherwise.

They have dogs. If they're a shared pet then it's not automatically his job to look after them. And he's working on what she deems to be things they've both put off for a while.
