Psssh whatever. I'm not religious. And you're a hypocrite if you've actually had a "Russian lover" but I think you're just a troll. I'm reporting you.

I got the commitment level I was seeking before we slept together. I don't regret my decision.

I'm 26 and I've only slept with one guy (my fiance). He's only ever slept with me. It's ideal, in my opinion, because we aren't comparing each other to an ex. Having a low N count isn't something to be ashamed of.

I'm 6' tall and my man is 6'2". I'm really tall for a woman. I also have a hormonal imbalance that causes me to be overweight and grow facial hair that I have to shave everyday, but I still feel feminine. Femininity is a mindset. My partner thinks I'm pretty and he loves me and that's enough for me. If your friends are being mean, you may need new friends.

I was always the fat friend in college, so my other friends always got more attention. I was used to it and didn't think much of it. I wouldn't want to date the kind of man who would hit on a woman in a bar anyway.

We were childhood friends. Went to different colleges, then reconnected after college and started dating.

You need to focus on building a support system. You need friends. Join groups that focus on your hobbies and talk to people. Go out for drinks with some work friends. Go to church if you're religious. I think the reason you feel unhappy is because you don't have any friends. Humans are social by nature. I know the thought of intentionally cultivating friendships can be intimidating, but you need to be more active in achieving your own happiness. Don't rely on a man to make you happy. And definit…

I think they were referring to the casual sex as not being RPW. Women here have a monogamous relationship and eventually marriage as the goal. Lots of casual sex will not help you achieve that goal. You should ideally only have sex with a man after he has committed.

We have been best friends since sixth grade. I sat behind him in every class due to alphabetical order. We always had feelings for each other, but we didn't want to ruin our friendship so we dated other people. We lost touch during our freshman year of college because we went to different schools. I broke up with my ex and I started talking to him again. We were both finally single. He started visiting me and staying the night in my dorm. We would cuddle all night. The flirting continued and eve…

Good point. I will bring this up with him. If we split everything 50/50 I will have to take out more loans for grad school than I had planned, but I am willing to do that for the health of the relationship.

Well we agreed on me playing the rent right now because I'm going to grad school next year, and he said he would pay the rent while I'm in school. So I feel it's a fair trade.

We agreed we would get engaged probably in the next year or two and married by 5 years. (So 3 years from now)

I suspected that was the case. I will wait until our marriage discussions become more serious. Thank you for the advice!

We do share finances. I pay rent, he pays the utilities and food. We agreed on that so he could pay off his student loans faster. We are not struggling with money, and I agree, it is his money to do with as he wishes. I guess I am wanting to have that talk about money managing so we can plan our future. He moved in with me out of necessity. It was supposed to be temporary but he never left. I know this isn't a good strategy, but I only recently discovered RPW.

He is so generous. He takes care of me and makes me feel safe. He builds me up instead of tearing me down. He is just so sweet and genuine. He makes me melt.

Last year I got my bf a star map of the night sky from the time & coordinates of the movie theater where we had our first date. It had the caption: "It all started with Guardians of the Galaxy. So glad you're my Star Lord" Lol. He thought it was pretty romantic.

Growing up, I too was also "the best" academically in my bubble. I too am a woman in STEM (and I'm also working on my masters!) I attempted to date several average guys, but felt like we couldn't effectively communicate, like you were saying. My boyfriend is also intelligent, but his area of expertise is history, which I know very little about. I admire him for his strengths that are different than mine. I think this would also be a good strategy for you.

Not sure how I ended up here, but I am a woman. Can confirm. Your theories are true, I want my man to act like a man and be the leader. I want him to be strong and masculine, and let me be feminine. If forced to take over and run things, I do become less attracted and resentful.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
