Husbands love complaining about their wives and wives love complaining to their husbands.

Honestly yeah he should consider it. He should consider her whole past, and sexual history is included in that. As for stopping the past behaviors, I never have but I'm super playful. I can't afford to hook up with people who don't really really like and respect me bc I'm a little too down.

My father was bipolar. He wasn't nearly as "damaged", as he was damaging. In fact I think if you asked him, he'd tell you it was a fun ride. It was not a fun ride. To say these people are damaged underplays the disorder. That's like saying a poisoned beverage is damaged. No, it's toxic.

I think for a lot of people the two aren't exclusive. You get objectified as a woman for just being a woman, so if you get ahead of that, control the reigns of the objectification and it's empowering. Imagine taking action to not be objectified only to still be subjected to it... That's gotta be way more disappointing than just accepting it for what it is, not to mention capitalizing on it. Edit: I also take issue with the word objectification, as if sexualizing someone is somehow removing the h…

The whole reason that it's attractive to most people is bc it's healthy... I'm not convinced health is actually your main motivation, because if it were there would be no additional reasoning (and no reason for this post if you believe red pill is healthy). I work out because I want to be healthy full stop. No further justification needed. But it feels like you reached this conclusion through reverse engineering. What do girls find attractive? Health. Okay I'll be healthy.

This post is super red flag. Not bc you're red pilled or misogynistic, but because you're admitting to not taking care of yourself.... for yourself... It almost feels like when you find the "one" you have to stop taking care of yourself to prove your loyalty... It's also weird that your pursuing girls who hold a complete opposite philosophy. Like why bang a Tate hater if you like the guy so much? At the very least get a girl who has zero opinion on the issue? You're part of the reason dating is …

Women don't seem to enjoy telling men what they should be doing... It's kind of similar to, "I don't want to tell you to take the trash out" or "I shouldn't have to remind you to put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher" One of the key traits of attractiveness in men is their ability to problem solve. So if we take that away by laying out the steps for you, you still wouldn't be desirable.

I think we also have to consider the unknowns. Like we don't actually know what it means to not exist, or to start existing and then stop. So you're not only preventing life as you know it, but you're also casting a life into the unknown. And yes that happens to everyone eventually, but it is impossible to answer the question is it better to not exist, if existence were an option. But one who ceases another person's chance at existence is essentially answering yes to that question, which seems l…

Alright, I'll be the contrarian. Anti abortion all the way. I have a serious conversation with any potential partner and let them know I'm anti abortion. I've never had so much as a pregnancy scare bc of this. They're not willing to risk it, knowing I'll hold them responsible as much as I hold myself responsible. Inconvenience is a poor excuse to terminate a life. Two of my childhood friends were quite disabled and one eventually passed from his disabilities. The other went on to have two childr…

Hey man just bc whatever mental illness you have hasn't been diagnosed, doesn't mean it's not there. No where in the post does OP say waste your time on disgusting people... The post says consider a person's mental health, while looking for a long term partner... Where's the bad advice?

Pardon me for having more pressing matters than reddit in my life... It's not at all trolling. I genuinely feel as I stated. What you're advocating for has led to the dynamic where only a certain type of female is being pursued by men, and then men shouting from the rooftops "all females are 304's!!" And it's like no... But so many people have led you to believe you can't approach a girl in a normal environment, so girls in normal environments aren't being approached. They get stared at. Stared …

Posts like this are ruining modern dating. Stop telling men where they can and can't approach me. I don't have any image based social media, I don't use dating apps, I don't go to bars. I'm perfectly capable of rejecting a man with my lack of eye contact before he approaches me. And perfectly capable rejecting those who approach anyway, with pleasant, but not interested vibes. These kind of posts validate women who reject men in painful and obnoxious ways, by implying it was wrong for him to app…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 05:22 PM

Yeah but you could also argue that expecting someone to behave the way you want them to is a sense of entitlement on your end. You're not entitled to women expressing themselves the way you see proper.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 05:12 PM

I didn't respond to your post, bc I agree with it. At this point you're looking for a fight, not a debate. If I wanted to have a debate about the post I'd comment under the post. I commented under a specific comment, bc that was what I had beef with. And that comment was talking about posting on Instagram. Therefore, this conversation, this thread, is talking about posting on Instagram.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 05:10 PM

What you're looking at in this case is someone's ego falling apart. The anger comes off as entitlement, bc they're projecting their feelings of failure on to those around them. And it sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 05:03 PM

We're talking about the act of posting on Instagram though. You're talking about a personal interaction with a women whom you are rejecting. (Unless of course you go around insulting these women in their comments/DMs, in which case you're starting it; and expecting her to engage positively in the face of your negativity would be entitlement on your end.) Yes, I'm sure she does get offended when you judge her actions and yes I agree most Instagram "models" have unfortunate personalities, but that…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 04:57 PM

She does it bc she's betting on getting the likes, but she's not demanding them, therefore it's not entitlement. And she's likely feeding the wants of the consumers. If she posts an ass pic, thousands of likes. If she posts a selfie with an unflattering angle, significantly less likes... So she'll post the heavily edited ass pic, because she's not entitled to the attention, she just seeking it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 04:42 PM

Walk me through it man. How does a woman posting a selfie on Instagram equal entitlement? I see someone hoping for validation, not being entitled to attention.

This doesn't even make sense In the first half you're talking about putting your woes in a place where multiple people who don't care about you as an individual can partake in either dressing your wound or ripping it further open. I'm not going to disagree entirely. But I used to have a rule: no bio no matching. Between me and my roommate who did not have that rule I got way less derogatory messages... I don't think I ever got a dick pic on a dating app either. So that's a start. Otherwise yes, and for all you know his mom wrote his bio. It's quite bad. I won't use them. It's far worse for men though. It's not that hard to vet a guy on a dating app. If he has a good, thought out bio, he'll probably be decent to you. A lot of guys are legit not getting anything from these apps. Couple that with them also thinking it's their best chance and you've basically got the recipe for self esteem issues.

Even as a 7/8 it's more about her attitude towards things. I have a friend who will openly admit she's less attractive than I am but she's high on the extrovert scale and just a social wizard. Last time we went out a guy gave her $25 dollars for essentially no reason. We talk about it often, it pains her that I don't capitalize on my looks. It pains me too. I'm trying to learn, but it's far from natural.

Ask her a question about the game Ask her where she'd rather be Take it slow and when the opportunity arises naturally ask her a question directly Questions get the conversation flowing and show that you're interested in the person as a whole human and not just a body. Keep it light. I'd rather a guy be nervous to approach me and do it anyway than to seem or even worse try to seem indifferent about engaging with me.

Dude. You're way too wrapped up in "expectations". Everything you mentioned is stuff you have to do with or without a partner. If you keep looking at relationships through the lens of expectations you're going to become a very bitter person. The true purpose of finding a partner is to allow you freedom from doing it all, with the company of someone you love and trust next to you. If you're with a girl who expects you to open the door, give her your jacket, that's a red flag. Does it light up my …

Nice and intelligent are nondescript traits at the bottom of the expectations in a partner. I stand by my initial statement. It doesn't mean anything. She'd be more honest if she said I haven't really given it deep thought. But saying that would actually require more thought than saying I want a nice and intelligent guy. No shit. I guess I don't automatically assume "want" equals expectation. People will tell you their wants all day long without ever doing anything to make said wants more likely to happen. Also, I think a lot of people overestimate their own intelligence and will therefore settle from someone they deem smart according to the sliding scale they're using to measure their own intelligence. I guess my point is, it doesn't mean anything. Intelligence isn't a niche trait. And when you dig into it you're going …

I had to change my response after reading the update. This woman is way stronger than her man. To comment on the original post, you mention obesity but I don't see it mentioned anywhere in the actual post. Did she become obese? If not you're making a pretty heavy accusation to feed your narrative (all puns intended). If she swelled up that quickly, and he does use the term swollen, I'd say her hormones were whacked out. You know they only speak to the same type of female over and over and multiple types of females exist... They brought Mikhaila Peterson on and while the energy was more puppy-ish in her presence, they could only say the same thing to her that they say to the club girls. Hardly relevant to someone like Jordan Peterson's daughter and their inability to have an intellectual conversation when presented with a successful, down to earth female was disappointing.

The being rich isn't a turn on. In fact, if you inherited your wealth or won a lottery that's a turn off. If you're a true rags to riches story that's a turn on bc it demonstrates work ethic and intelligence. But anyone who's dated a guy like that knows that what makes him financially successful often causes him to fail at relationships. Asking for a friend? This belongs in r/oddlyspecific I think at this point it's more about how you raise him prior to him entering the dating age. You make sure he knows that even though he's autistic, he's not "special" and cannot be weak. Make sure he doesn't have a victim mentality. Sign him up for sports. Help him find his strengths and encourage him to confront his weaknesses. Teach him to cope with humor. Show him empathy. Take him to play areas when he's young so you can intervene when hi…

Love that you included the cause in your question. Too many people think you can reach a solution without looking at how we got here. If you do that you're doomed to keep running into the same wall. I think the main cause is single moms. If you look at studies, you'll find that moms tend to treat sons and daughters differently. They tend to favor the sons and in doing so can create very soft men if there's no father to buffer that. Because they tend to favor the son, the daughters are growing up…

Some people like abuse bc they grew up randomly shooting adrenaline and now anything less than that is boring. Or they want to keep accumulating trauma so they never have to deal with their original trauma. Some people want a toxic partner, because it allows them to be toxic in return. I think you should seriously ask yourself if you believe this or if you just wanted to come on here and attack females over something as arbitrary as "woman's intuition".

You chose the example of heavy machinery to make a point, but in doing so you painted a false narrative. Let's use the example, taking care of kids or being an HR representative. Now we can talk about the actual state of the western world, as more women are in fact choosing to be HR representatives rather than mothers. I think this is in large part thanks to the industrial revolution and tech. We have robot vacuums, dish washers, laundry machines. Home got boring pretty quickly, so women started looking for ways to find meaning again and corporations welcomed them with open arms, driving wages down simultaneously. Now even if you want to stay at home, it's not necessarily practical.

I hear you on therapy being wack. I also agree that women are allowed a wider range of emotion. The first thing I want to point out is that it's scary when guys have intense emotions. So the validation is the need, not the sex itself. I can get behind that. Though I'd say having a cheating partner might be counterproductive to the validation... As for men not having emotional outlets, that's a whole conversation. And at some point y'all need to figure that out with yourselves. I'm a major loner, so I get it, but I also understand that my lack of emotional support is a result of myself.

See this comment gets respect. These guys saying sex trumps a faithful partner feels weak. Idk if guys know this, but during ovulation the desire for sex gets intense... Like... really intense. I'd never let that drive me to have sex with someone I'm not in a relationship with though, that'd be stupid. I also eat 600 calories a day though, so perhaps my definition of "need" is more strict.

Child support is the attempt to hold men accountable. It's natural that men will try to swerve their obligations as it's significantly easier for them to do so, but with DNA testing and societal pressure we can and should hold them accountable. Men don't tend to fully accept the role of fatherhood until they hold their child, so I think a lot of the men saying these things have no real idea.
