Seems to me you just gained some life experience there. It's gonna happen a lot more. Almost every time you want to get out of something, they will try to pull you back. It also works the other way around, the harder you cling on and want someone to stay the more they want to push you away. No wants to feel rejected.

I don't understand why the down votes. Basically, /u/justme89 turned the tables around. He became the seducee and she became the seducer. I think what David deangelo explained is not only found in women but men also. Everyone wants what they can't have, it's human nature. When you show someone all your cards its not attractive...leave a little to be desired and you will be more desirable. The girl seemed like she wanted to "get married in 90 days" and this turned justme89 off. "4) Be very cool a…

You learned this in 6 months? I'm jealous because I'm learning this now after a decade of drinking. I've read the advice here not to rely on alcohol but never understood it until you explained it. We ARE trying to make ourselves better. My life is in a good place just as yours is and hangovers kills any motivation to "live life to the fullest". Thank you for your post. I will be referring back to this often for inspiration.

This has repercussions that are beyond just you, your friend and this girl. Let's say things work out: if I met you IRL and found out that this happened (you wont have the chance to explain yourself to everyone), then I would probably second guess being friends with you. You break the bro code this time, who's to say you won't break it again. There's plenty of girls out there, my man. Save yourself the trouble and have fun with someone else.

my experience is that most girls who are dating have a safety guy... maybe an AFC guy who they know will always be there. or fwb-type person. it's not serious for them so they go out and have fun, maybe meet someone interesting and cool like: sed-caelys or stinkypyper. someone they can really invest their worthwhile into. ;)

Personally I'm interested in girls who are witty, smart and funny. Clever people. It's intimidating at first because they're so smart but they hold my attention. So even though it can be a little intimidating to talk to these "alpha's" it's still better than the alternative (this is a personal preference) who are the type to follow conversation, remain quiet and do not add values, ideas and opinions. These timid types are safer to date because they will most likely go along with whatever you wan…

this is lame but i've used "hey i just met you ...and this is crazy" with success. some girls didnt even get the reference they just thought i was being conversational

Looks like you have the light-conversation down. Good job! Now that you have their attention... dig deeper. Draw them out to see who they are and what they like.

Thanks for your perspective. Seems like your catching a lot of heat here for it but I appreciate your input. Take it for what it is, people!

Yes! As long as you're opening... Don't think about it too much. She probably wont even know what you're saying. Use your body language.

I guess everyone's different but after being in a meaningful relationship, I want the connection. I see your point though. Lot's of connections to be made out there. Good point.

I had more success not saying anything at all. No kissing just fucking and no cuddling. Dont even bother asking for a phone number (I mostly club/night game) that gives them the biggest hint. When you tell someone they can't have chocolate cake, what do you think becomes the object of their desire?

I thought about this when I was younger but it's not only about the physical. You exchange money for pleasure but it's not the same when you connect with someone.

Yeah they'll hook up but still want a relationship with you eventually. I've tried honesty. Doesn't work.

It's simple actually. Girls love a good story, especially when they're the leading character.... Charming stranger approaches girl and asks for a number/date. Girl meets charmer and falls in love. Happily ever after.

What I've learned from traveling to SEA is being a male. I've been born and raised in North America where almost everything is gender neutral and politically correct. This confusion is bad for men and women in pickup. In SEA, women are very traditional and men are expected to be more aggressive with their "wants". There's probably more I should elaborate on but I'm leaving work...

I really liked the gambling comparison. Awesome! You just play, you cant determine the outcome. You can look back at a hand and tell yourself you should have did this or that but when it all comes down to it, some/most things aren't even in your control. Just play. With seduction you have more control but at the end of the day, you're just playing.

This is great advice. One thing I'd like to mention is that you don't necessarily need to "Figure out where you went wrong". Maybe nothing went wrong. Thinking that you did something wrong when nothing was wrong is a bad path to go down. Nevertheless, continue to become a better person, regardless of your situation.

Disagree. Relationships are pliable. Your interactions will determine how a relationship goes. Some take more work than others. Girls are not born high-quality or low-quality.

Yes but with every situation you control your emotions, words, and attitude. This is about capitalizing on that "situation".

FB's never turns out well. I highly advise against this. If anything FB's get more complicated. Especially since she's young and immature. Tell her the truth like others are saying.

This should be upvoted more. Take a moment and observe the situation. I've been in a situation where I went up to talk to a girl who was by herself and 5 feet away sitting on a chair was her friend (not even her bf). He saw us talking and all he said was "eff off!" and then sucker punched me. It was a situation that couldn't be avoided. :(

It's probably because she doesn't want to explain to her gf's. You should hang out together without her friends. Isolate her.

Gentleman respect each other. At least act like a gentleman. PositiveDude: you are the man! I needed to hear this part of "game"....speechless.

I recognize that place. It's outside the Venetian in Vegas. Girls are so so much easier to meet in Vegas. I really doubt there were 20 failures.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
